NGL, knowing that Frieren is over 1000 years old really puts stuff into perspective. I did the math and, assuming I'm correct; 30 years to her when she was 1000 (she's presumably already an adult by the time the flashback with Flamme happened, going by what was said in it, no clue as to her actual age) are equivalent to what a single year is to a 33 year-old. Do keep in mind that, due to proportionality in our perception of current time vs. our experience, the same time-frame will seem to shrink as we grow older. So 30 years must be even shorter to Frieren now than when she was 1000.

I don't know, I think this show is about the journey and not the destination. 10 years worth of episodes of her walking wouldn't be a waste, but rather 10 years worth of character development, with a reward of her meeting Himmel at the end.

Considering how old Frieren is, Fern is essentially an adopted granddaughter taking care of grandma in the mornings.

But you know if someone's Tsk affects you that much, then you really respect that person.

A beach tansformation like this is a one-in-a-century blessing for a community. I think it would be cool fantasy lore if towns and villages commonly saved up little savings chests to be used as rewards in case a rare mage comes along who can perform something truly wonderful for them.

Frieren and Fern look so cute clapping in the background as the rock comes up.
