Also really enjoy Zestial and Carmilla as Overlords so far. Also love the fact that Carmilla understands that though its possible how high risk it can be, and she could lose the people she cares about if others to try.

Zestial is voiced by Jason Statham. I was really surprised at first, but given his history of playing characters who would love to find 500 different ways to kill you with a stick.... makes sense

I love how it's shown there's a huge gap between what makes an Overlord. You have Zestial, an absolutely ancient being, who is cautious and Carmilla who is more fearful of the risk the knowledge of her actions could bring across Hell itself. Then you have the Vees who are... well wind-bags, young and uppity with big mouths and egos. Also not sure if it was intentional or not but when Carmilla was holding her kids and looked at each of them then was staring straight at Zestial when she sang "I'll keep you safe." I love the idea that they're close enough friends, despite being demonic overlords, that she's including this ancient being within the "family" that she wants to protect.

From what little we know of the Overlords and the Vees specifically, they are relatively NEW Demons while the others are older and some even ancient. Its like old noble families vs new money families. the Vees are just ambitious since they represent all these new age vices, that they think the old generation are irrelevant.

So is Vaggie Camila’s daughter? They do physically look similar, they just duetted in a song together, and Vaggie mentioned that being in turf wars was how she was raised and Camila is an overlord (also they both speak Spanish lol). Just a thought

I recognized Velvettes VA from SIX (the musical), and her song here *Solidified* that. Excellent shit, her song. Awesome joint songs *throughout* he episode. I feel like it's implied that Carmilla killed the Angel to protect her daughters? But... I find it unclear if she or her kids are Sinners or natural-born demons? And since only Sinners are targets of extermination, I'm a little unsure. Again Alicia, the Real Talks here about realizing that we have value beyond what we can physically *do* for others is the kind of stuff that made me sure I wanted to keep watching your content. You know what you're talking about, you take the topics seriously, and you are calm, sincere, open, and *helpfully* straightforward. ...and yes, this was good to hear. Just.. so much harder to actually internalize. Thank you.

I take care of my elderly father, and until January, my aunt. We spent the last two years battling one illness and crisis after another with my aunt, with her getting better only to drop down again until she passed this year. That song made me cry like a baby because that’s how I felt. Even now, I’m constantly asking myself if I could have done more, or different. And what you said too, Alicia, helps me a bit.
