I love how this show makes me question how overpowered Frieren actually is, bringing up that she's lost to less powerful mages, needing an elaborate plan to catch the bird, Laufen easily getting the bird from her, then it turns around and reminds you just how much of a monster she is with her casually doing the impossible.

Denken getting Richter to help him just SLUG it out with some randos, is definitely a highlight of the episode. The music building into him throwing his cloak off and reveal that he's actually quite built. Wonderful. Stellar scene. ... not to mention the implied basic fistfight between some of the most powerful mages in the world :P
