True Stories: Muses on burps and pillow bellies
Okay, so this week has not been great for my writing, hopefully Friday and Saturday are better for me. However, it’s also nearly the end of the month, so I want to try and get some content out, because YOU (my amazing patrons) deserve it. The best way for me to get words on a page when I’ve got limited time is to share another true story (or collection of true stories).
The topics of this post are burps and pillow bellies. Let’s discuss burps first.
BURPS
What are burps? Gas escaping through the mouth? But why are burps such a common form of fan-service in WG fiction and fat fetishism in general? Beats me.
Back in the day, when I started to recognize my sexual fetish tastes, burps were not something I found attractive. In fact, they disgusted me. I didn’t like them in cartoons, I didn’t like them in TV and movies (Thinking about you, Shrek…), and I certainly didn’t like them in real life. Yet in the WG stories I sought out to read, burping was prevalent and I didn’t get it.
Part of me still doesn’t get it.
Yet, burping is prevalent in the stories I’ve written. So what’s the deal?
Nowadays, on the rare occasion my GF burps, I find it attractive, like, more attractive than I probably should. This makes me wonder, what happened? I still find most burps I hear in real life, gross. Simple as that. But when a burps comes out of my GF, I like it.
Let’s discuss my theories. I’ve dated women in the past who have also burped and my reactions to my past partners burping varied. Sometimes, it was oddly attractive when a loud belch came out of a woman I was attracted too. Then I dated a girl who burped all the time, and any enjoyment I might have had about her burps slowly, but surely turned to mild annoyance. And now here I am with my current GF, she’s shy about burping in front of me. Most of the time when I hear her burp (which is rare) she’s in a different room than me or she thinks I can’t hear her.
When the above mentioned situation happens and I call her on it, she’ll go so far as to deny having burped at all. Seriously, I’ll hear a cute little burp, ask her if she burped, and she’ll deny it to her grave. When she burps in front of me (usually when alcohol is involved, but not exclusively), she appears a little embarrassed. I think the slight embarrassment I see on her face is what I really like about my GF’s burps. I’m not really sure why I like that, but then again, in the WG fiction I write, a lot of fan-service situations involve embarrassment. So maybe that’s what I like about it. Or perhaps the vulnerability that goes along with slight embarrassment. IDK.
I think that for some people the burp fan-service in WG stories might be more related to the slob aspect of some WG stories. IRL, I'm certainly not into the slob elements that I might be mildly amused by in WG fiction. Perhaps though that’s another topic all together. Finding things attractive in a WG story when I most likely wouldn't IRL. Either way, I’m interested if anyone else has an opinion on this.
PILLOW BELLIES
We’re about 500 words in here, let’s switch topics to pillow bellies. What are pillow bellies? Well, here is my definition: When someone puts a pillow under their shirt to simulate having a belly.
Now, there are some stories that do focus on simulated WG. Mia’s Junior Year has some elements of that, so do plenty of other stories. I think this also falls under the umbrella of stories that feature fat suits, fake pregnant bellies, etc. Usually these stories also involve traditional WG elements and at least one character who gains real weight, but why do I talk about it? Why do I bring it up?
Welp, here’s the little story. My GF and I were having a pillow fight the other day. I know. A pillow fight? But here me out. I may have started it by throwing a pillow at my GF just to mess with her. She retaliated. So did I. And before I knew it, we were taking turns hurling a pillow of mine at each other. Well, eventually, she decides she’s had enough of our little game and stuffs the pillow down her shirt to keep me from getting it.
So, completely by accident, my GF had a pillow belly going on, and it excited me. She noticed, and smiled. I could see the wheels turning in her head. She probably understood why I liked the look. My GF has a great butt and really nice breasts (she also has a lovely tummy, but the tummy is obviously not as big or as noticeable as her feminine curves) and with the pillow down her shirt, she had simulated a big round belly.
She laughs, calls me weird (in a loving way), and starts modeling her pillow belly for me. In my head, I’m losing my mind. I’ve dreamed about role-playing WG fantasies with pillow bellies before, and here she was, actually doing it. How do I respond?
Of course, I got shy and self-conscious for no reason. I loved the way she was modeling her pillow belly, but I had such a hard time communicating why I found it so attractive and how I would want to include that into our sex life. The rational part of me understands why I lose my voice in moments like this. I know it’s weird to find something like that attractive, it’s not normal, and feeling abnormal is not something I enjoy. I think that’s been a big problem for me throughout my dating life when it comes to my fetish.
But, it is normal to find abnormal things attractive. Burps should not be attractive. I don’t find them attractive, unless the burp comes out of my GF, then it excites me. Pillow bellies, should not be attractive, but to me they are.
Gosh, I remember (this is embarrassing) being a student in high school senior year in a history class. This girl in my class (one of the sporty fit girls) has to give a presentation on some pregnant woman, so she puts a pillow down her shirt and dresses up as the person, and gives the presentation. I got a boner. In history class, because of a pillow belly. I’m not sure I’ve ever been more embarrassed with myself.
But perhaps I shouldn’t be so embarrassed. Normal is an impossible standard to adhere to. And to be honest, I enjoy my fetish.
Now… I don’t know what I would do if my GF wore a pillow belly and then burped. I’d probably lose my mind for no reason, but that’s life. I guess things don’t always have to make sense.
Welp, that’s about all the time I have to write tonight, unfortunately. I got a little over 1,000 words on paper. That’s not bad. I hope these musings are somewhat worthwhile to read! Really sorry I haven’t had the time this week to get a ton of writing done.
Tomorrow may or may not be better (Saturday should be better, but that’s April…), but at the very least, I’ll try to post another True story tomorrow.
In the meantime, what are your musings on burps and pillow bellies? Are they attractive in real life? Or just in WG fiction? Or not at all? And if you do like them (as I guess I do) why do you think you like them?
Would love to hear from you guys.
Have a great night!
