True Stories: Facebook Fit to Fats

Hey! Only a little bit of time left in July to make this post. This is a collection of stories about girl’s I’ve known/dated that I’ve noticed have fattened up over time thanks to the wonderous gift that is social media (primarily Facebook).

But first, some housekeeping. I had a rough weekend, and am not done with the July one-off, so I’ll make the post visible to all on my patreon. In other words, when I do post the finished product, I won’t restrict the post to my paid tier. Thus, you should be able to view it without needing to resubscribe for August. I’m not trying to nickel and dime people. Sorry, I don’t have that one quite done yet. Should be done in the next few days for sure.

Back to the true stories.

Sisterly gains

I first got on Facebook a while ago, like in high school. Back then all my friends were also in high school, and I just used it to talk and share pictures with my friends and classmates (like what you are supposed to use it for I think?). Anyway, I started using Facebook more heavily when a girl at my high school started messaging me, often. She was three or four months younger than me, but a grade level below me. I actually knew and was friends with her older sister. Back then, she was skinny as a rail and her sister was busty, but very soft. This first story is about these two sisters.

Let’s give them names, their sisterly relationship inspired Mia’s relationship with her younger sister Sarah in Mia’s Junior year, but that’s about it. Okay, for the purposes of this true story, we will call the older sister Morgan and the younger sister (my first girlfriend) Mandy. I met Morgan well before Mandy. She was a grade level above me, and we shared a few elective classes together, mainly classes on film and TV production. She was really cute, long straight brunette hair, great smile, tall, bubbly personality (not dumb, just absent, like she was always thinking of something else), was very into fashion, a little pale, and she had a soft hourglass frame. She didn’t play any sports, she wasn’t pudgy or chubby or anything, I think the term skinny-fat would certainly apply to her, she was quite curvy, but I wouldn’t say she was thick. Anyway, she had a bit of a reputation as a bit of a ditz, so despite being really attractive not a ton of people wanted to partner with her, because she would never do any work. So I partnered with her.

We got along fine, I developed a bit of a crush on her, but she never seemed to have any interest in me. We met outside of school a few times to work on school projects, but that was the extent of our relationship. She was oddly kinda quiet and shy alone, and we really didn’t seem to have anything in common.

So, I moved on from my crush on Morgan. We stayed friends on Facebook after high school, but I have not spoken to or seen her in years. At least, in-person. I have on occasion seen her post pictures in my Facebook news feed.

A few years ago, I saw a picture she posted and was so taken aback, I had to click on her profile and stalk her for a minute. Turns out, like many American girls, Morgan gained weight in college. How much weight, probably 50 or 60 pounds. It was noticeable. She went from skinny-fat and curvy to quite chubby with a big beer belly. But, she also packed on weight after college. Pretty sure she became an elementary school teacher and absolutely ballooned. I’m talking probably 100 pounds or more since her college pictures. It was a massive weight gain.

The kinda stuff I write about in stories. Like probably 150lbs to 300lbs.

Now I’ve never done anything with this information until now, I think as a WG fetishist our brains are just hard wired to pay attention to stuff like this. It’s just impossible not to notice.

I don’t normally go stalking people I’ve had crushes on in the past on Facebook, I don’t feel the need to, I’m currently dating the most attractive girl I’ve ever been with, but when stuff like the above-mentioned transformation happens and pops up in my feed, I notice and on occasion I’ve investigated.

Morgan got fat, so I wondered about her younger sister, my first girlfriend, Mandy. Now, Mandy knew me, because I knew her sister. I’m not sure she ever knew I was crushing on her sister for a time, but I first met her when I’d gone over to Morgan’s house for a school project. I literally paid Mandy zero mind the first time I remember seeing her. She had a pretty face like her sister, was tall, but unlike her sister, she was rail thin and super fit. Mandy was on the track team and was obsessed with fitness. Unlike her sister, she was pair shaped, but she did have nice hair. She also dressed like an athlete and wasn’t attentive to fashion like her sister.

I didn’t really interact with her again until I was a junior in high school and I gave indoor track a shot after quitting a different sport (basketball).  She quickly developed a crush on me, started messaging me on Facebook all the time, and hanging out with me at practice. I didn’t really find her super attractive, but I did begin to develop a liking for her emotionally. We gave dating a try, although we kept it quiet, because that’s what she wanted. We’d sneak out and get pizza, go on runs together, see movies, but eventually after I expressed that I’d like to make our relationship ‘Facebook official’ we hit a crossroads because that’s not what she wanted. So, we split up and stayed friends.

Yes, she dumped me. I didn’t take it well, I told my friends and they teased me about it endlessly. But after some time I realized it was for the best, as I didn’t really have a physical interest in her, she was just way too skinny. Welp, thanks to the wonders of Facebook friendship, I know how her wg-story went. She did sports in college, kept running in medical school, and then had a pretty bad injury to one of her feet because of all that running. Without being able to burn off a ton of calories, she developed a bit of a pot-belly even though she was still cross training.

Fitness was always her thing, so it’s quite likely she’s been able to get herself back to normal since the last time I Facebook stalked her (and her sister), but it was something to see her with a bit of a belly. I always thought I’d find her attractive with a gut, but maybe that’s because I used to like her. I remember not feeling the joy that I expected during my search. Sure, it was cool to my WG fetishist brain that she and her sister gained weight, but I couldn’t help feeling bad for Mandy. Morgan looked happy as could be being as fat as she was, but it looked like Mandy was unhappy with the injury and the weight gain. Since I’ve not spoken to Mandy since high school really, I didn’t break that silence to reach out to her, I just moved on with my day and forgot about it, until I looked at the clock tonight and realized I needed a topic for a true story.

Sisterly gains (Part 2)

Similar to my first story, I’ve got another story about two sister’s from my high school, one of whom got very fat after college. We’ll call these sister’s Kelsey and Kelly. Now, unlike Morgan and Mandy, Kelsey and Kelly were blonde, very blonde. Kelsey was a few years older than Kelly, and much shorter. She was cute, but a bit of a misfit. She was extremely outgoing to a fault, a little pudgy around her middle, but otherwise an hourglass in shape, plus, she was very loud and boisterous. I first met Kelsey in the same class that I met Morgan in. While Morgan basically ignored me until I elected to partner with her and do all of her work for her, Kelsey was obsessed with me.

I’m not kidding, this girl was a senior in high school and I was a sophomore or a freshman, and she would literally tell everyone we were dating. She referred to me as ‘her boyfriend’ forever. Lied to people about going on dates with me and everything. I don’t know what was up with her, or what the obsession was about, but people thought I was seriously dating her. Even her younger sister, who was in my grade, Kelly.

Unlike, Kelsey, Kelly had to be the most popular girl in my grade. She was tall, fit, curvy, genuinely nice and caring, and always dressed to impress. Every guy I knew had a crush on her. There was so much competition I never bothered having a crush on her until she approached me asking about the rumors regarding me dating her sister that her sister spread like the plague.

I remember this very clearly actually, because she asked me about why I was dating her sister in my high school French class that I mentioned in a different true story. I told her that her sister was just being an oddball and lying to everyone about it and she seemed to believe me and apologized for her sister’s behavior. This didn’t make Kelsey stop pestering me all the time, but it was the thing that got me to be friends with Kelly.

Suddenly Kelly and I were friends, and she’d often help me with my French homework. She’d stop by my athletic events to cheer me on, and I’d do the same for her. Some of my friends were jealous that I became friends with her, but that’s all we were, just friends. Kelly was as conventionally attractive as you could get, but aside from thinking she was pretty, I wasn’t interested in her, because I never thought she’d gain weight. Boy was I wrong about that.

While I know from Facebook that Kelsey yo-yoed a bit in weight after high school, ultimately getting pretty thin after having a few kids with her husband, Kelly’s wg journey was more skewed in the WG direction. In college I’d see pictures of her playing field hockey in my Facebook feed. She got a bit more muscular in college than she’d been in high school, but her senior year of college, she developed something else, a beer belly. I figured it was just a consequence of senioritis and she’d lose the gut after she graduated, but Kelly went pure ex-athlete. She moved across the country and started slowly and consistently gaining weight until she was genuinely fat. 10 years after high school, Kelsey was huge, maybe a little less huge than I described the 300lbs-looking Morgan, but huge none the less. The crazy’s thing was seeing pictures of Kelly and Kelsey. Kelsey used to be the fat sister, and now she’s the skinny sister, Kelly’s the fat sister.

I can only imagine, because of how vocal Kelsey was about everything how she must tease her younger sister for their weight role-reversal, but I imagine it’s something to see. I never would have imagined that Kelly would have ended up fatter than the fattest girls in our high school, but it seems like she did. Funny how these things go.

College Graduation Gains

I’ve been mostly talking about girls I went to high school with, but I’ll change gears and talk about a few I went to college with. These girls were pretty thin u[on graduating, but let themselves go sometime afterward.

I’ll start with a girl I’ll call Sadie, she was a swimmer, very short, 5 foot nothing, weighed 100lbs entering college freshman year, gained 20lbs the first semester partying and then converted the weight into muscle for the rest of her college career. I was friends with Sadie that first semester, she was gaining weight, I liked it, so I made a move and she turned me down. You win some, you lose some. There were plenty of fish in the sea, so I just moved on.

Thanks to the wonders of Facebook, I know she got married soon after graduation, stopped swimming, started teaching, and has been slowly packing on the pounds ever since. This gain is smaller than the larger one’s I’ve mentioned so far, maybe about 30 pounds since I last saw something of her’s pop up in my Facebook feed, but it’s always something I notice. I’ve not talked to her since graduation, but I remember how she dealt with her freshman 20 (dread, constant dread, she’s complain, poke her gut, call herself disgusting, lift up her shirt, jiggle her gut and complain that life isn't fair because her friend gained 20 pounds too and the only thing that blew up on her were her boobs, etc) and wonder how she feels now. I think people come to terms with gaining weight to an extent as they get older, but I can’t imagine this girl being okay with it. Since I can’t know, it’s just one of those things that could serve as inspiration for a character or story and go from there.

College Graduation Gains (part 2)

This next girl, let’s call her Samantha, was a beautiful blonde idiot (she actually introduced herself to me claiming she was an idiot). She wasn’t tall or short, just average in height, but above average in looks, very fit, big bust, played a ton of sports. Her issue was that she made bad decisions, with alcohol, with dating, and with partying too much. She really struggled in classes and was very vocal about blaming her problems on being dumb. I didn’t get why she’d always tear her intelligence down in front of other people, maybe she was insecure.

She was friendly with me, but I was dating a plump pole vaulter at the time, so I didn’t express any interest in her. I also, didn’t really like her, I found her kinda annoying. But I was very nice to her, since she was always very nice to me.

In college, her senior year, she started gaining weight, and blamed it on a problem with her thyroid. I’m not sure if this was a lie or if it was true, but she did start to get pudgy the first semester of senior year and chubby the second semester. Her gain caused her to get thrown off her sports teams (or she just quit, not quite sure) and caused her boyfriend at the time to dump her. Then she graduated, and I never saw her again, but by this point, you know how that song and dance goes, Facebook baby.

After graduation she got an office job (marketing I think, or graphic design) and quickly met a guy and got married. This guy was not anything like her college boyfriends. In college she’d only date extremely fit athlete, but the guy she married was massively overweight, much larger than she was. If she was chubby when they got married, he was massively obese, like wide as a door kinda fat. Thanks to the wonders of Facebook, I now know that she’s now as large as her husband was (he’s seemed to have lost some weight). To be fair, she has had two kids, but it’s eye opening to say the least.

I can only imagine what role the weight gain has played in her life nowadays.

Funny how I know all these fit blondes who have ballooned in weight.

Alright, that’s all for now, I’ve got plenty more of these if people care for me to put another one of these together one day. I think if you remain friends on social media with people long enough, statistically in the US you will know of people who have really let themselves go. I imagine that if enough people shared we’d see that there are a lot of common scenarios that lead to weight gain. In this post alone, I’ve talked about injuries, medical problems, quitting sports, getting sedentary jobs. What surprises me most is that it’s the people who I imagined would never get fat, who have gotten fat in the years since high school and college. Likewise a lot of people I know who were fat in high school and college are now thin and run marathons and spartan runs and are addicted to crossfit. It’s wild.

If you have examples like I’ve discussed or are seeing the same trends I am seeing in your friend network, feel free to comment and let us know, might be fun to talk about.

Again, I’ll have the July one-off out soon, and I’ll make it available for everyone to see on patreon even if you’re not a paid subscriber.

Thanks for the ongoing support! You all are making a world of difference in my life, thanks for helping me continue to do what I love.
