Here we go! Can't watch this right now but I wanted to say that I've been waiting for these next two reactions. There are several episodes in the show I'm really eager to watch you react to. And 2x4 and 2x5 are obviously both on the list!

Jason Dokos

I'm sad I gotta wait till next week for 2x5 😭

T. Arnold Ferguson

Since you're immediately going to watch the next episode, I won't make any comments here other than a minor correction. The time indication on Miller's wrist display was not the amount of air he had left. It was the countdown to the Nauvoo impact on Eros.

Holden gave the other ship every chance to turn around. One thing that Holden is learning (the hard way) that doing the right thing doesn't mean you're doing the right thing. I fuckin love it. This was another reaction I was waiting to see. Miller staying behind. He's also doing the right thing.

Oooooo Thank you! Completely misinterpreted the countdown clock. Appreciate the heads-up, my friend!

LightningInvoker

Wait, do I have to wait until next week for ep.5?! Son of a NO! 🤣

LightningInvoker

Hey dude, would it be possible going forward for you to add the episode runtime as a timestamp on the screen?? It can be a pain to sync back up with you when we have heckin ad breaks. Thank you!

I second this! That, or leave a super blurry picture-in-picture of the episode running (with no audio) - I've seen other reactors do the same on Patreon videos, and it makes it surprisingly easy to re-sync when things go awry.

Brad Johnson

This episode start with holy fuck and runs from there.

Brad Johnson

The music in this show is amazing and really stands out in this episode and the next

Oh shoot! My bad, G. I had gotten into the habit of adding the counter and then completely spaced after my last business trip. Will definitely have it going forward!

Clinton Shorter is at his best when the credits for an episode have a-typical musical score for them. Just a handful of episodes do this, but when it happens it's so good.

Chad K

You may not have noticed but the doctor from the aid ship was actually in the episode 'Safe' broadcasting about humanitarian aid to Eros (8:40 timestamp) while Miller and Holden were getting treated in the sickbay.

Great reaction and I love that you can get emotional from the fear of losing Miller, it shows that you're really into the series and characters. I'm so hyped for Episode 5 and everything that comes after. Sadly when I'm watching the UNCUT, the Patreonside crashes 2-3 times per episode. And then I have trouble syncing again. Could you add a timer to your uncuts? I don't know if it is difficult or not. @ other Patreons: Do you have the same problem with the videoplayer of Patreon? If not, could it be because I use Opera?

I absolutely will add a timer. I had been doing it and honestly forgot to when I was editing this one. Guarantee we have one going forward. Apologies

I seem to only have issues if I'm using picture in picture mode and my Chromebook I think? May have something to do with memory management. I do get crashes. I just don't use PIP mode in that case but yes a timer please!

Jason Dokos

Another thing, as I'm at the gym literally listening to the soundtrack, cuz I'm obsessed. The Expanse is superb at making non-epic events feel super epic, such as the launch of the Nauvoo.

No issues for me, I personally use my phone for patreon side on TV for the show (Comcast FLEX box)

You talked over a very funny line from Chrisjen when she was talking to Jules and Errinwright: "Lord maybe we should get these people on our payroll!" (talking about the rogue employees of Protogen that made a war without going over budget!) I know the end of the episode is so emotional and surprising but that scene with the three of them is so well crafted and acted!! And I have to say, knowing what was coming, your reaction made me laugh out loud it was so perfect! The next episode Home, remains as my favorite one of all time. Can't wait to share it with you.

Brad Johnson

Damn. Just got home from work and was hoping to see episode 5 up... damn..not yet I guess :-)

E.P.B.F.

If this one stressed you out you might want to invest in some industrial strength beta blockers, because you've seen nothing yet. Seriously, 'Home' and the second half of Season 3 are not for the faint of heart and/or high of blood pressure.

I figured out a way to follow the reaction without ad breaks (sort of): not sure if it's the same everywhere but if I click on the progress bar towards the end of the episode, I get all the ads immediately, and then they go away. Then I just switch back to the beginning, and it's smooth sailing from then on, no breaks whatsoever.

Anyone else dying inside while waiting for S2E5 FULL to drop!?!!
