Really we should have known Buenamigo was a Badmiral right from the off when we heard his name Admiral "good friend" too good to be true lol.

I think the character development that is done in S3 for all 4 of our fab four is honestly some of the best in any Trek show, just really incredible, believable work and to do it in such a short amount of time too, really hammers home how great the writers are! Also I cannot WAIT for you to start S4, obviously I'm not gonna spoil anything but I will just say T'LYN!!!

Cannot wait to get to know T'Lyn! AND I completely agree with you about the character development!

Yeah, Carol being forgiven is a lil quick and glossed over, but it's needed to keep the show going. You ain't losing Dawn Lewis, she's frikkin amazing (and a joy to work with from what I've heard) so they need to forgive her and move on. Yeah, it's a little crappy that she gets let off the hook but if she avoids being awful in the future, you can get past it She kinda does. She's more of comic relief and/or the quest giver for the main 4 (NOW 5! T'LYN!!!!!!) until she needs to do serious things/ read a certain Intrepid Class Captain for FILTH. Jenn can go F*** herself! I love that folks shipped them but she was treating Mariner as an idealized "Bad Girl" instead of knowing her. The show's creator admitted they needed another episode with them as a C plot to show some of the cracks in the foundation. It's an interview with Jessie Gender, and therefore rocks, but he gives some preview spoiler stuff for ssn 4 but there's not a lot of it. Also, props to singing along with the song/ title of the ep. I need to ask the show's writers if this is named after the song just because they needed a Texas song, OR if they're fans of the Far Side animated cartoon which used it to great effect. (if you haven't, you NEED to see them, there's 2) Glad you loved season 3, get ready for an amazing ride, and hope you get that "crewman badge" that non-officers wear so you can wear T'Lyn's costume. (Maybe not the only additional jewelry you'll need to pick up...)

I agree with you that Shax, as much as I love him, should have stayed dead. However, him finally getting to eject the warp core after suggesting it for three seasons, how the corridors are lined with people cheering him on, fills my heart with immense joy, it justifies his return to me even at the cost of a heavier emotional punch in the early seasons

Completely agree! I adore Shax but his 'death' was such a well executed moment, I sort of hate that it was 'retcon'd' a bit. Great insights, my friend!

At least they left it until the next season. If they'd done it later in the same episode I'd be more mad about it coz there'd be no time to cry about it lol
