Good morning everyone and welcome back to 'The Bakery Bears Advent Calendar 2024'

It is time to finish our first festive pattern of 2024. Kay is back at our cosy 'Christmas Cottage' to show you how to finish off your 'Country Christmas Mitts' with a gorgeous tin star!

Join Kay this morning as she:

  • Opens ‘Day Thirteen’ of our ‘Advent Calendar’

  • Welcomes you to the next section of this years knit along

  • Shows you her progress so far & lets you know what we’ll be doing today

  • Talks you through the chart for this section

  • Explains how she approaches creating the tin star

  • Demonstrates how to create your tin star using duplicate stitch

  • Reads to you the next section of this years ‘Christmas Story’

  • The next section of the pattern is attached to the bottom of this post. The complete 'Country Christmas Mitts' pattern will launch on the 24th of December with the final instalment of this years 'Advent Calendar'. The design is so pretty and I’m looking forward to embellish my mitt. Thank you for explaining the stitches and chart so well, I feel I have the confidence to give it a go. X

Beautiful pattern as always Kay. It's the little details with your patterns and the thought that goes into each and every design from you, thank you.

Not sure if this is happening for anyone else, but when I open the pattern today, there is no picture on the front page (cover of the pattern). Is anyone else experiencing this?
