Welcome to our ’Intermediate Skills’ collection.

Have you ever knitted two by two ribbing and been disappointed at the fabric you had created once finished? This is such a common problem which used to frustrate us whenever we knitted hats, socks or even garments. Thankfully there is a super simple solution that Kay is excited to share with you in this tutorial.

Join Kay as she:

  • Talks you through how untidy ribbing is created
  • Shows you an example of a one by one rib and why it hides all ills
  • Talks you through how we keep our ribbing looking wonderful
  • Demonstrates how she knits perfect ribbing

I have heard about this trick before but I was doing it between all k/p and p/k stitches and that pulled the right hand knit out of shape and I hadn't thought of only doing it on the k/p transition. Thank you Kay! xx
