Technically I finished it before midnight so I'm technically still on schedule.

I threw out most of this page because I wasn't happy with it and started over. I've reached a point in this comic where in the past I thought "I'll figure out how to draw this by then" but spoilers: I didn't. Honestly, it's kinda amazing to me that I managed to get this far with this comic. If you look at my pre-OOTB stuff it was almost entirely pretty bad left-facing portraits. And with OOTB I try to put something I've never really drawn on each page and just kinda hope for the best. Sometimes it works decently. Mostly it fails. But hey, that's why I call this an experimental comic. Even though some people don't like when I do that. I don't know why. What was my point. Oh, learning. If you're waiting to start a comic because you're worried you don't know how to draw it. Just go for it. I don't know what I'm doing either.

Didn't mean to do a comic rant. Anyway how's your June going.

Congrats on finishing the page, it looks great, and thanks for the inspirational message :)

I definitely feel the same way about my comic. I thought doing it would help me learn all the stuff I'd wanted to, like better anatomy and backgrounds, but it definitely didn't happen as quickly as I'd hoped lol. I recently had to start practicing buildings/furniture in perspective because after all this time I still have no idea how to do it right. I really need to figure it out for the chapter I'm working on >.<

Dude what are you talking about this comic is freaking brilliant and beautiful to look at, and I read a lot of comics. It’s amazing how much your art has developed since the start. Just keep going! I love the panel with Mack’s tail going up the stairs, and Felix with the tiny shirt. It’s ok, he can just walk around without a shirt 😍. But yeah, finding this comic and binging the whole thing in a few days totally made my June so thank you!

"Technically" you're perfect. From what I've seen all your stuff is really good. I do music stuff... I've written a lot of things I'd never show to anyone. You're a million levels beyond me.

We’re always in competition with ourselves, aren’t we? I can definitely see the growth in your art. If you doubt, go back and look at some of your earliest work. What was already good has grown into this gorgeous personal style you’re developing. It’s a beautiful thing….

I really admire the use of light and shadow here. It's beautiful.

Man, maybe your worst critic is yourself? hehehe. Your work looks gorgeous to me!

" I don't know what I'm doing either." We are here just watching this dazed and confused man stumble about, and loving it!
