Another day late but hey we got there.

I think I'm gonna finally bite the bullet and make the switch to Friday updates and see how that works out. I have to do most of my drawing on weekends and if I don't have enough of my page done by then it takes up almost all my time on those days and I barely finish or end up late anyway. Hopefully I can take the load off a bit this way. I'll still post publicly on Sunday. So next page will be the Friday after this one and we'll see how that works out. I'll come up with something to fill the space too. Thanks for your patience.

Also I think I need to lower my font size. I keep going back and forth on it but this takes up so much space and always throws off my planning. If you read on mobile let me know if you think I can afford to shrink it a tiny bit.

Dang it, we almost had a crop top Felix! Their dynamic is so adorable, I really like the way there two have developed 💜

The font size already feels a little small on mobile but still entirely readable. Don't know how people with worse eyesight than mine feel about that though. If you think shrinking the font size will help you I'd say go for it, we can always zoom in :)

I feel it might be hard to read on a mobile if you shrink the font any more 😬 I can just read it without straining on mine atm.

I read on mobile sometimes and I don't think it can go much smoller. Also I love this page. They have such expressive body language.

Any day the updates appear is a good day! I read on a tablet so I can really see the art in detail. More conversation between these two would be great even with a smaller font size. So when is Mack going to notice the scars on Felix’s back? Also the light in these past few pages is incredible— I can feel the sun going down. What happens when night falls and there’s no electricity? How well can Mack see in the dark?

It does seem a bit small on mobile to go any smaller, at least on my phone, but I would value your ability to tell your story effectively over readability on my phone and if it was too bad I could always zoom in. Also my opinion is don't worry about filling time until the next comic. I like the comic a lot, and your art style is phenomenal, but it also kind of sucks to hear that its eating up your whole weekend.

Yeah I have to clip down the dialogue I write because five chapters in I still underestimate text size and stuff. It's just a headache.

That’s because you’re using a 3 row layout like for print comics. The printed comics page is relatively large and can fit a lot of text. Vertical scrolling web comics spread the larger font over a bigger space and more panels with a lot of empty space in between, to make it easier to read on a phone. But it’s ok! I love the style of this comic. Put in more text and let readers zoom in.
