What I'm working on - November 2025 (Patreon)

Hi Patrons! It's high time for an update.
I'm currently working on my video reviewing all the films I saw at the London Film Festival in October. I've got it all recorded and just have to edit now. I did do the reviews unscripted, but I'm a lot more satisfied with the quality of my reviews than I was in 2023. One nice thing about doing the podcast this year has been that I think it's made me more comfortable and articulate off the cuff.
This will be a longer vid since I have 32 (!) films to review (not counting shorts programs, which I'll recap broadly). But I don't plan to do much in-depth editing, as in many cases I won't even have access to copies of the films to clip, so hopefully it won't take me too long to finish.
I had a good time at the festival! Honestly, it was a lot. I was seeing films pretty much morning-to-night. I love that kind of thing, and it's a privilege to experience, but it is exhausting. I'm now sick with a cold, no doubt from burning the candle at both ends while traveling internationally. I would have shot the recap vid sooner if it weren't for the dreaded Illness.
After the festival video is done, I'm thinking of maybe reviewing War 2. However, Bollywood videos don't tend to do well on my channel, and I fear they might be confusing the algorithm more than anything, so maybe that one should be a Patreon exclusive. I'm interested in either doing a script doctor-type video, and/or maybe even pitching my personal War 3.
After that... I'm not sure! I'd love to do something cozy and fun, like a Lifetime or bad movie spotlight video. All this highbrow stuff has me craving trash.
I know I haven't been the most present on the Patreon lately, and I'm sorry for that! I'm busier than I have been in other years since I work and have podcast responsibilities now. I'd love to do a fun Patreon exclusive soon. I did record a Bollywood ramble meant for Patreon a while back, but hit a wall when I realized a lot of it was genuinely too boring to air in my opinion. I know some of you like to say, very sweetly, that you'd listen to me talk about anything, but I have to have SOME standards for myself. I spend the beginning of the video just reviewing Bollywood films I've seen lately, which is decent. So maybe I can just put out that part for now.
Genuinely, any requests for Patreon vids? Within reason? I could use some prompts. If nothing else, I could just do a Patrons-choice special.
