What I'm working on - November 2026 (Patreon)

Hi Patrons!

I'm currently in the throes of editing my London Film Festival video, which is just taking a while since I recorded about 3 hours and 20 minutes of footage. I had almost 40 movies to talk about! But once I do my first pass, it probably won't be too time-consuming since I can mostly only use trailer footage and still images for these very new/upcoming films.

I had a good and busy time in London. It kind of flew by! I mostly just saw films day in and day out, but I did see both Andrew Garfield and Jesse Eisenberg present films (big milestone for the channel), got to see Phantom on the West End for the second time, and I also ate fancy cheese on a boat restaurant.

Some festival pics of varied quality:

My friend who attended the fest with me and I agreed that it was a bit of a weak year of films overall. Only a couple of great standouts, a few notable bad standouts, and a LOT of mixed bags. If you want a preview of my highlights, I'd say:

Good standouts: Wild Horse Nine (iconic John Malkovich performance incoming), The Unknown (what if Freaky Friday was real and made you want to die), Club Kid (great screenplay), The Debut (charming)

Bad standouts: Behemoth! (I am going to kill Tony Gilroy), A Long Winter (more like a long MOVIE!), Klara and the Sun (I am going to kill Taika Waititi), I Play Rocky (I would like my £21 back, BFI), Fjord (more like BJORED!)

Disappointingly mixed bags: The Liberation, The Blood Countess, The Face of Horror, Ink, Moonglow, Your Mother Your Mother Your Mother

Once I'm done with this long, long festival video, I plan to finish and release that little vid I made in October about Yes Chef! Christmas some time later in November. After that, I'll probably do another holiday Lifetime video-- maybe finally do a vid about Lifetime Christmas thrillers.

After THAT, if nothing else falls into my lap, I might finally revisit my Hello Dolly idea. I also do want to continue that Tiger Shroff Patreon project, I've just let it fall to the wayside recently. Sorry these things get so scrambled around and put on the back burner sometimes. I do usually plan to pick them back up!

Hope you all had a great Halloween! Thanks so much for your support this month. Thoughts on 9-1-1 season 10?? I'm looking forward to more Buddie angst this week.
