Summer Update! Pausing Through July, Minimum! (Patreon)

Howdy folks! I'm mostly doing fine at this point, but the posture of leaning forward to draw is still gonna take some time. I'm seeing my surgeon in mid-July to see about scheduling the second of the two surgeries, assuming I still need it. I'll find out then when he says, but for now I'm pausing at least through the end of July, and don't be surprised if I also pause in August.

The good news is that my right side is the bad side, and that's the one that currently has 3 titanium screws in it. Yay! So if/when I get the left side done, I assume the recovery will be a lot easier and not interrupt my ability to draw nearly as much. Fingers and lower trunk joints crossed, of course. If I end up having the second surgery in the first half of August, I assume I'll be back on my drawing feet (lol drawing feet) by September, but I will of course keep y'all posted.

In the mean time, when I am able to draw I'm gonna be working on projects that have been on the back burner for ages. Lookin' at you, Stardew Valley girls. Might post doodles here or there if I think they're worth it.

Anyway, that's the update! New Patrons can continue to choose to join and see my back catalog (I haven't reorganized my tiers at all yet), but for anybody currently subscribed the billing is paused for the time being.

Also, guys? Watch The Amazing Digital Circus. I had no expectations about it whatsoever but a friend highly recommended it so I checked it out and binged it in a single sitting a few days ago. And I tend to be more of a movie guy than a TV guy as far as committing to watching something. Shows are just a much bigger commitment, y'know? But it's only 9 episodes! Really great stuff, even if the fandom is apparently more toxic than the Elephant's Foot in the basement of Chernobyl.
