I noticed a bug in the latest version 1.2.0 where story titles weren't being stored properly in saved scenarios, so I went in to fix it. While I've been in there, I also did some more things that will be in this new update:

Added: If a character gains weight over time, it shows on their card in the Character Chooser screen.

Added controls help button and panel to scenario and chat windows.

Added Maren, a new alternative/goth character, to Downloaded characters. She's already in the free demo so if you want her now, go use the demo and she'll self-install.

Added the ability to use [*] in scenarios to add automatic weight gain during a story chat. Just type [1]gainWeight 5 and she'll visibly and instantly gain 5 units (lbs or kg) at chat step 1. You can put any step number in and it will happen then.

Added AI command: >gainWeight 10 : will visibly and instantly gain the amount in units (lbs or kg) (I ended up doing this in a more easy to use way. See the latest update 1.2.1 for details)

The reason I'm posting about it now is that I could really, really use some comments if you are having any bugs at all with the latest release version. I'd like to get them fixed.

So if you have encountered bugs, please comment on this post with the problem you're having. Include as much detail as possible so I know what is happening. And... if you could send me your Player.log file so I can take a look, that would help immensely. To find it, go to Settings/Advanced, then click the button to open the Local CakeMix Data Folder, and then look for the Player.Log file. Email that to support |@| ripenedpeach.com (remove the spaces and | symbols)

I hope to get this new update out this coming week, but yeah there will be a few new additions/fixes in it even though it's smaller.

Thanks!

PS. The character in this post's image is one I made named Yasmin. She's using the new "Middle Eastern" style head shape (among other shapes) that is in the latest build. It's called "Reyhan" if you're looking for it.

4 and 5 just changed the game great stuff

Howdy- first off, the stuff you’re doing is really impressive. I’ve been watching since two versions ago and the recent features have been exactly what a lot of us are looking for. Can you explain what the difference between numbers 4 and five are? Additionally, I haven’t been able to test yet, is the gain over time feature permanent? Or is there a rollback feature, to take a character back to their initial state. I know personally some things I’d love to see are clothing implementation, Fleshing out the ai suggestions box(and adding an avoid feature, to steer the ai away from certain topics), and Scene pausing(to resume a conversation at a later point). Other long shots would be background image generation and the ability to generate a character based off an imported image(for recreating other games characters and such Thanks for all your hard work thus far!

What happens if I were to type, "[1]gainWeight -5," or any negative value? Will that cause the character to lose weight? In the settings, is it possible to add a weekly weight loss option? I would love for my characters to fluctuate in their weight, sort of like yo-yo dieting.

What would happen if in the creator all the weight/shape values were set to 0, and then I selected gain weight over time? Would certain sliders be favoured or would it be random?
