ONE OF MY FAVORITE EPISODES OF THE SHOW!!! ❤️❤️

Paul

I suspect this will be your favorite episode so far for both of you. Punchy, emotional... scary.

Michael Mannisto

Somehow I knew a trailer was coming for this one. I told em that e13 was the best of s1 😉

HS

I was much too young to appreciate this episode, I just wanted to see monsters and aliens lol

Thicketdweller

The first time I saw this episode I didn’t really like it. I didn’t know why at the time. I saw it in the middle of the third season at a Christmas break and it felt very out of place to what I had seen around it and once I learned that it was a first season episode made total sense. I liked it as I’ve seen it in context later. Sometimes timing is everything

Zenlike Creature

Super trailer, chaps! And a great episode! Look forward to hearing your thoughts next week.

D Jammers

RIP General Hamond

Joe J

I'm just here for the monsters and aliens, lol.

dkenobi

Just superb. Now I'm really stoked to re-watch this classic X-Files episode. Nicely done!

penoyer79

this is the one i've been waiting for. Brad Dourif once said this role almost killed him - referring to the high emotional intensity it demanded of him. would have also been cool to end the trailer on a black screen no music... just Boggs singing "Somewhere... beyond the sea"

Jon Miller

Haven't watched this since I was a teenager but I'm bracing for it to hit hard now in ways it didn't at the time.

Ian Westcott

FANTASTIC trailer. You were killing it with Star Trek trailers, I had no doubt X-Files trailers would be good fun too. Only critique -- I do love Don Davis (and genre audiences at the time would have known him from his work in Twin Peaks), and think he deserves a trailer credit too, even though he's not in THAT much of the episode.

Ondrej K

Classic Nut job.

Target Audience

I wanted to, but I used all of his scenes already in the trailer, would need to re-use shots which I’m not really a fan of.

Keith S

That dedication was for your father?

Keith S

Sorry to hear that. He passed too young.

Skye Maidstone

I have real trouble watching this episode (for fairly obvious reasons). Gillian is such a wonderful actress.

AC C

That is the best trailer you have put together yet! Emotion, suspense, great music choices, Bravisimo!

Marcus BlueSky

Oh, yes. Here we are, guys. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼

Darin Starr

Jesus Christ this is some powerful shit for a TRAILER - I don't think I've seen this episode before and I'm super looking forward to it

Katie Jackson

This is my favorite episode of season 1! I can't wait for this one. Brad Dourif is amazing in this. You did a great job with this trailer Josh, I'm really sorry about your father. He raised a great son, so I'm sure he was a great man.

Jonathan Llyr

This one should get some kind of award. Really great, guys.

Patrick Smith

I wouldn't be surprised if Lewis Pullman studied Brad Dourif's role in this episode for the portrayal of Bob in Thunderbolts*.

Kimberli Sinning

I've been waiting for Beyond the Sea. What a way to end this year! Fabulous trailer as usual, Josh!

Scarpad’s Domain

really sorry to hear about your dad the dedication was perfect

thebeefmaster

Bravo!!! To you, your father, this trailer and this episode!

MrDeadstu

Hmm, did you like it? You can't stop guys, you will so regret it. Great show.

Ian Westcott

Father's Day and dad's birthday hits a little different these days for me these days too.

River Acheron

As good as this episode is (and it IS fantastic...solid S), the crazy part is the show as a whole only gets better from here.
