NOTE - We have been made aware that the version on some international streaming services (Paramount+ in Canada & UK) does NOT use the 90-minute version that we watched on the DVD. Luckily I have the DVDs so I was able to sync it up after dusting them off. It's actually wild how different the DVD vs Paramount edits are though. I wonder why it was changed so much?

Same. I dug mine out of storage in the loft. It felt like uneathing Data's head in Time's Arrow the amount of time they've been up there.

If you don’t have the DVD’s and REALLY want to watch the 90 minute version of the pilot, the Apple/iTunes version of Star Trek Voyager has it as a single episode still.

I was watching it on Paramount+ and there wasn't a second difference. 🙃

@SGHollywood yeah because you'd be watching it on the American Paramount plus where they have it up as a double episode. Those of us outside the US have a different version on our Paramount plus where they're 2 separate episodes instead of one single one

Are we treating this as Episode 1 & 2? I saw that the guys are accepting paid comments for Episode 5, but I don't know if that is for Phage or The Cloud. I would consider The Cloud to be Episode 5, but if you consider Caretaker 1 & 2, then The Cloud would be Episode 6.

Very interested to see how you guys read these characters. The premise is one thing, but when you're stuck on a boat with 150 people (or w/e it was) trying to make a journey like this.... It's all about the personalities and interactions as to if this series was going to sink or swim.
