Long time lurker, first time Patron… 😜 I’ve been a YouTube follower since the algorithm suggested your “Measure of a Man” reaction (my favorite episode of all time), and I haven’t missed an episode on YT since. I couldn’t pass up this chance to throw y’all a little bone, and I’ll upgrade at my earliest opportunity. Having two little kiddos leaves very little extra disposable fundage, but you guys are worth it and I have a severe lifelong case of stick-it-to-da-man-iosis. (If you haven’t seen School of Rock with Jack Black, I can’t recommend it highly enough!) Keep up the good work! ❤️🖖

Definitely a fair warning, but it generally seems to be TA policy that anything that would have been a "naturally occurring spoiler" is something that they're fine experiencing the way we did. Also, I hate to point out the obvious, but just by giving them that warning, you've all but blurted out "A cast member is leaving or joining in Season 4!" So, y'know... when you weigh that against the 50/50 chance of them not noticing the change in the first place, I'd argue the warning does a lot more harm than good. For future reference.

Their reaction will be worth it going up against this rule if they aren't spoiled by the opening credits. But it might be just like their reaction to the Chief in DS9. They already knew.

They must fear that if they give up the right to protect their trademark now, they might be forced to give it up always. I know Disney used to sue kindergartens for putting up unauthorized murals on buildings, or whatever.

Its awesome to see others enjoy/react to Star Trek for the first time. I was the only one in my family that loved/loves the franchise, minus the new stuff post Enterprise.

I have a question and this probably isn't the place for it but hey ho someone might know! Do these fellas have plans to keep going with all ST? Because I've thought repeatedly just in my little YouTube binge that they would LOVE Lower Decks, and I've been hoping to see reactions appear... One day in the probably quite distant future 😅

I love Lower Decks but it's jokes reference things in DS9, Voyager, Enterprise, Discovery etc that they wouldn't even pick up on yet. I think their plan was always to keep going with trek shows in the future. It looks like they've completed 14 out of 50+ seasons so I'll be following them forever. ^_^

I do remember on their DS9 pre-series videos they confirmed they plan to keep going. We'll be waiting together.

Niiiiice, I know some people have differing opinions on "NuTrek" that can get uh, heated, so I would understand if as reactors you'd just decided to stick with what's "classic", but personally I'm happy to hear you've committed all the way and look forward to it all 😊

Do it, I went a little bit wild when I decided to rebuild a physical media collection and it was so much fun! Loads of things are ridiculously cheap second hand, it's easy to get buried in blu-rays haha. Not even close to done yet either but I had to pull back a little bit when I realised my shelving situation, or lack thereof 😅
