Can't be anything higher than a B because Neelix only ALMOST dies.

Phenomenon (Doo - Dooo - Dah - Doo - Doo)

Despite the multiple levels of horror this story puts the crew through, they still managed to throw in the "Don't worry. I won't kiss you" -- "I'll try to contain my disappointment" exchange between The Doctor and Neelix

Disappointing. I'll admit, I am surprised they had the cahones to permanently scar Neelix and Kes this early in the series, but otherwise it was just an episode they could have given to a better villain.

Really like this one

TinMan_7B9

I thought it was quite original to make the main villain a jealous monster who steals a lung from a 1-year old.

M.A. Moreno

This is an excellent episode by Voyager standards... so B tier.

Good episode, around an A- for me. But the Vidiians are just such fantastic new villains that I’m bumping it up to an S. This is one of those episodes that’s generally less popular, but I actually really like it. I'm always looking forward to this episode in a rewatch of Voyager.

If it wasn't for how unlikeable Neelix is during this it would be an easy A. Maybe even S for the vidiian concept. As it is it's a C almost B for jealous Neelix and the drawn out hall of mirrors.

V G (Zay)

This is an A for me, there is nothing that had me saying "wish they hadn't put that bit in" which would make it a B, pacing could have been better and it didn't hit me emotionally so not S territory. Let's go!

Crewman #6

C. It's just fine I guess? I'd managed to forget Neelix's jealousy bit, even though your mind probably would be absolutely melting from the restraint/effective paralysis. If it becomes a serious problem Kes can say "You have my lung not my heart."

Ryan Caulfield

B for me. The Vidiians are a cool looking aliens with an interesting backstory, but their impact is lessened by being introduced so late into the episode. Mostly this episode is fine, but Kate Mulgrew's performance at the end really bumps it up for me.
