The delay is now certain (Patreon)

It is now certain that the new update will not be released until the end of next week at the earliest. Unfortunately, the reason is not simple, nor is it happy. Wednesday at 1am I had to call an ambulance because my father almost drowned (not Covid, but just as bad).

Paramedics and a doctor worked on him for an hour before he was stabilised. Then they took him away and we didn't know anything about it for hours. Fortunately, he has since recovered and it turns out that he has a serious heart condition. He's still in hospital, but at least he's out of intensive care.

Because of these events, I did not do any work on Wednesday. I took time off work, and for understandable reasons I didn't touch the game. Today, being more calmer (though not well rested), I worked on it a bit, took a few more pictures. But just to take my mind off the fact that my father almost died.

So, there will be no release this week. The earliest you could see a new chapter is at the end of next week, but I wouldn't guarantee that now. I miss Monday, when all I was worried about was not getting the chapter done on time because of work. It seems like years ago. Probably, until my dad gets out of the hospital, I won't be completely calm.  But I try to pull myself together, because it's good for me too, if I'm occupied with other things, not dark thoughts.
