Each origin comes with a unique ability that can affect missions, and depending on his origin, MC may get along better with some people than others. For example, if he was born on Earth, he was a starfighter pilot. Thanks to this, he will also be able to fly smaller 1-2 person spaceships which means he won't need another pilot. He also comes from a wealthy family, so he gets on better with people of means, for example, he can mix well at a party with the rich.
