Weapon (mace), very rare (requires 2 attunement slots)

"Thunder may roar, thunder may awe, but it's lightning that truly gets the job done."

Tempestwrath and Tempestfury are perfectly suited for fighting with both weapons at once.

You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with these magic weapons.

When you hit a creature with an attack using either mace, the target takes an extra 1d6 lightning damage.

While you are attuned to both maces and wielding them, you can add your ability modifier to the damage of the bonus action attack granted by two-weapon fighting.

Lightning Surge. On your turn, if you hit the same target with both maces, you can use Onslaught on your next turn.

Onslaught. When you use Onslaught, you make two additional attacks with the maces. Until the end of that turn, you must use your action, bonus action, and any other available attacks granted to you that turn to attack a single target. The total number of attacks you make during that turn cannot exceed 10.

Curse. Once you are attuned to the Maces of Tempest, you cannot end your attunement to them unless you are targeted by a remove curse spell or similar magic. In addition, storms follow you wherever you go. You cannot gain the benefits of a long rest outdoors, as the storms continually disturb your rest.
