Dromedary's Portation (Patreon)

Wondrous item, very rare (does not require attunement)

"Spirit of sand, now show the way!"

This amulet shaped like a dromedary, is decorated with desert motifs and celestial patterns.

To activate it, you must stand in a quiet open space, alone or with friendly creatures assisting in the ritual. You and any assisting creatures focus on a destination. All participants chant together and speak the command word, “Dromedary’s Passage.” A wild magical dromedary appears.

You then make a DC 24 Animal Handling check to bond with it, gaining a +1 bonus for each assisting creature.

On a success, you and all friendly creatures within 10ft. of the dromedary teleport to the intended destination. On a failure, the destination is missed by one day’s travel, possibly placing everyone in a dangerous location.

The item regains its power after 7 days.
