First, Bonnie didnt have anything in her blood. Expression allowed her to make Elena think she is choking then she healed herself. And basically the reason Elena went after Bonnie is because he needs her to lower the veil to the other side. Only she can do that as a descendant of Qetsiyah (the witch who cursed Silas). Silas wants Bonnie to bring down the veil so that he can take the cure and be at peace to be with his one true love that was human. If he took the cure & died without bonnie bringing down the veil, he’d be stuck on the other side because he was born a witch before becoming immortal. That’s why he needs the veil brought down & the cure. Right now in that last scene, Bonnie is essentially agreeing to work with him & bring down the other side so he can take the cure & kill himself. That’s why he was basically saying “so you’ve finally come around to my side & agree to bring down the veil?” Also I just want to say Caroline got some damn nerve begging the nigga who she basically called despicable— for a dress. And Klaus is equally a simp & an idiot fr giving it to her. Like his aura went down so much for me this episode (as it does anytime Klaroline scenes happen). Like he is so damn pathetic when it comes to Caroline and I hate that they did that to his character. Like all she does is use him for material shit, distracts him/plots against him + calls everything but a child of God, yet he still goes out of. His way for her without so much as a thank you??? Not my Klaus!!! And Caroline trifling as hell. Like you’re dancing with your man. In the gown given to you by the man who forced him into servitude, slaughtered his friends & brutally murdered his mother……not to mention he tried to killjoy at least 2x, murdered aunt Jenna & whatever else he did to torment their lil group….personally I’m on his side but girl??? And this Rebekah storyline got me laughing like a mfer bc she’s really not that bad of a vampire/person, especially compared to all the vampires& people in this show. Like ok shes petty &can sometimes be a bitch but so Damon literally killed Jeremy w/o knowing he’d come back & everyone moved on from that fairly quickly. He’s done way worse than her, insults everyone while doing said things & never apologizes but SHE’S the worst??? But I also agree (unsurprisingly) with Elijah & Klaus’ reads of her. Like being human is just a whim of hers and klaus is right to say that she should’ve let April die or call 911 if being mortal is really the life she desires. And i surprisingly sorta agree with Matt, she has no idea what being human is about. But apparently neither does Matt bc as a human, you have to accept death & there’s plenty of humans with less morals & more selfish tendencies than Rebekah. It actually would be very human of her to be selfish then mourn miss April. But for some reason she cares SO much about the opinion of the man who murdered one of her brothers. Ugh. I love my family but the Mikaelsons can be so pathetic.
