You said he lied and said he wanted to pull SOL for a chat than plays a clip of him and Corbin calling aniya a grandma. Doesn’t really make any sense to your initial claim. My thing is Kc isn’t here for Aniya he’s here for him. If Aniya had picked Carl and Kc had came back single this whole thing wouldn’t have been a big deal because he’s a man. Aniya saying she feels embarrassed because he didn’t pick her imagine how he felt that first day. The same way she’s holding onto that is the same way Kc was holding onto it. Aniya is being way more disrespectful to Kc than he was to her and it’s a bias opinion against Kc if you don’t see that. I’m sorry but you can’t just make me feel bad for her when the same thing Kc says Aniya said out of her own month.

It's not a coincidence that people align with the islanders who they share similar traits and experiences with. People aren't black and white, and are capable of doing good and bad things throughout the show. We should be able to check our own confirmation bias going into it: what narrative am I looking for here? Am I looking at evidence that only supports my argument, and discredits the opposition? Am I basing my inferences of the islanders' character on my own personal life experiences? Not to mention the sensationalized edit of reality television dramatizing every interaction and cutting out 90% of it. We just need to accept the good and bad parts of Aniya and KC and accept that they weren't compatible! Don't take it so personal, and don't forget how imperfect we humans really are.

I think you’re not understanding that Aniya was irritated during that conversation they had right before casa because it was after KC told her multiple times he wouldn’t want to jeopardize their connection over something else. Also, just because he came back and stated the truth doesn’t take away from the fact that he lied initially.

30:57 exactly! both were wrong in the end. KC not once verbatim said i would NEVER pursue sol. THE ONLY thing he said that was wrong was not directly telling Aniya that Sol is someone I would pursue outside of here THEN reassure that it would take a LOT for her to turn his head which is what he told Aniya every time. He never told her NO that never came out of his mouth that’s just what Aniya took it as and that’s her communication issue there bc instead of assuming just because he said it would take a lot = no which wasn’t the case. Then he was honest about the sol situation when he was asked in that very last convo as mair stated. I don't know how this re-writing of history happened but ig😭. Funny how in the beginning people were saying Aniya didn't like KC. Now she is doing too much. To me if KC wanted to explore before he should have done it, it's never going to be Aniya's fault. Sincere explored Sol even when Melanie didn't want him to. The energy when Melanie got mad or sad about that was never the same as the one given to Aniya. Then KC said he didn't want to explore Sol but he was still talking about how he didn't explore her so it's like which is it? To me it felt like after he told Aniya he'd rather not explore Sol anymore and focus on her, he tried to be slick with it instead of being upfront to Aniya and clearly say I want to explore her. Because during the soccer episode KC was talking to Sol and Aniya was chill at the start (before the challenge). She only came to interrupt Sol and KC after the soccer challenge because Zach said what he said and KC told her previously he didn't want to explore her. Then he said again when they had the convo with Aniya after she interrupted "why would I go and explore? To do some mystery shit." he lied. Because the thing is, it was never clear what he wanted to do with Sol. He stopped himself for Aniya but no one asked that. Yes that's probably what Aniya wanted but what's the point if it's not genuine?? This KC situation is very easy if you're logical.

Comments are confusing me. KC didn’t tell her straight out he liked Sol because of how Ayana reacts. She’ll say she’s ok with him exploring and then question him about Sol and mope. Emotional manipulation is emotional manipulation whether intentional or not. He’d have felt horrible if he continued pursuing Sol after that. Was it cowardly to avoid being direct, totally. But to characterize him as a villain or bad guy for that is to me immature when it’s entirely human situation. Especially when he at least tried to communicate how he truly felt while Aniya was overall confused because her actions weren’t matching her words. Yet “Aniya fans” (most of y’all are just KC haters) can’t seem to extend that same grace to KC.
