Wow, only 1 episode left! So glad I joined Patreon for these last 2 seasons, it’s been a pleasure 🙏🏾🫶🏾

Paris Hardy

Also, glad I joined the Patreon. You guys are hilarious and analyze/ discuss the show and work out your own opinions . Even if I disagree with your take on the episode . lol. In the case of Daenerys and her characterization, I completely agree with everyone else. The writers wrote her into a villain in the last three episodes. The actors were so hurt by this, the actress who plays Danny is still traumatized, and hasn’t watched House of the Dragon to this day in interviews . The actor who played Varys said this was not how his character would have played the game at the end.

Gabi

Tyrion was the worst thing that has ever happened to Daenerys (-> not defending her, she's absoluty crazy but Tyrion defenitly did more harm than good) but out of all his stupid decisions he made so far, I totally understand why he released Jaime and it was in character. Jaime was the only person who loved him unconditionally and vice versa. If not for Jaime Tyrion would have died a long time ago and just like Tyrion said, he can finally return the favor. But when we as audience see how Jaime's character ends we can easily judge and say it was a pretty stupid decision and he should have been chained up instead of running back to Cersei. And I still mourn the beautiful character development of Jaime Lannister that they managed to destroy with just 1 sentence. Tragic, but I just pretend I never saw this episode..Jaime is still alive living a happy life with Brienne, Cersei is gone for good and Daenerys is less psycho. A girl can dream 🥲

Persono Someone

“Who do y’all think I am, Jon snow?” I cackled 😭

Heather Ross

Dany was always mad. A lot of people didn't see it because all the good things she did cancelled out the bad in their eyes. I loved Dany but even I picked up on the crazy shit she was doing as far back as season 2. Her burning King's Landing proved that. She claimed her goal was to "liberate" the small folk from under the rule of a tyrant. She was a Tyrant. Not the same kind of tyrant as Cersei but still a Tyrant. She killed anyone in power that opposed her or got in her way. She was blinded by the throne. She just expected people to love her once she got there. She built no rapport with the people at all besides Winterfell but by Jon bending the knee without telling his people first, they instantly disliked her. Think about it. Ned's father ( their lord) and son was burned alive and strangled to death by Danys father and they are supposed to just trust a Targaryen after that? They went to war to overthrow that family and then Jon just bends the knee to that man's daughter before they knew what kind of pperson she was. From Westeros, only the Greyjoys followed Dany loyally. The Tyrells and Martells did it for vengeance against Cersei. You really think lady Olenna would have supported Dany's claim if Margaery were still alive and acting Queen? Hell, No! The Martells had a grudge against the Targaryens because Rhaegar left Ellia Martell and their children for Lyanna Stark and subsequently started a war. Jon Snow was always the better option and he would have been the best choice for all the people of Westeros. Sorry to all you team Dany fans but she was not it.

When dany does bad we have an issue with it because she said she wanted to be different. Cersai has always been an evil MF. So when cersai does bad it’s expected. What dany did is 10x worst than what Cersai did. There is literally no reason for Dany to burn the city. If anything she could have burned the red keep. She’s a murderer and has killed more people than cersai.

Halima

Daenerys now has a higher kill count than anyone else in the show. Even if she only killed half of King’s Landing that’s 500,000 people. Larger than the Night King killed for his army. And all of it unnecessary because Cersei’s forces had already surrendered the city.

Halima

I love that final scene between Jaime and Tyrion. Tyrion might have done some dumb things but not in this episode. In fact I’d say the only stupid thing he did was not realising that Daenerys had already decided to burn down King’s Landing before they even got there. Saving Jamie’s life however was perfectly in character and a touching parallel to when Jaime saved his life back in season 4.

Halima

Episodes in which Daenerys explicitly threatens to burn down a city and is talked down by an advisor/trusted friend: S2E4, S2E6, S5E9, S6E6, S6E9, S8E4, S8E5. I always point people to Daenerys’ conversation with Hizdahr back in S5E9. She threatened to burn Meereen to the ground if the people didn’t just follow what she deemed “right” whether or not it’s their culture. That’s exactly what came to pass in this episode. She hated the people because they didn’t overthrow their “oppressor” as she deems it to install her as their ruler. Daenerys’ isn’t “mad” as people like to say. She’s entitled with a God complex.

Sivan

I haven’t finished yet, but I needed to pause because you guys seem to be missing THE MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR in this scene… THEY SURRENDERED… THEN Dany starting burning the civilians. Her soldiers were following her lead. The things Dany’s men did after the bells rang, they only did because their leader gave them the “okay” to destroy anything or anyone they wanted.

Mars

Dany became the thing she's been saying she never wanted to be... as a Dany Stan I feel like if they were hinting at her being the mad queen at the end but the way they rushed it made no sense, could've done with a few more episodes and better writing to pull it off

Halima

Jon isn’t pulling away from Dany because he doesn’t love her, he does, but he’s struggling to get past the fact that she’s his aunt. Varys mentioned this would be a problem in episode 4

Gasper

Yup I didn’t care either, the way they held danny to a totally different standard. Like they wouldn’t even be alive without her. Her children and Bestfriend were killed, I would have done the same. Most have done stuff no one judges them for but Danny has hella shit happen to her and she’s done & she’s crazy. The misogyny!

The Prelude 2 Fame

Danny was an entitled power hungry brat from day one. And furthermore all those dragons were a menace like a neighbor with a bunch of untrained pitbulls. Danny literally brought in foreign invaders who raped and pillaged Kings Landing. She heard the bells that the city gave up and decided to proceed with the murder of thousands of poor innocent men, women, and children. Cersei & Danny are both evil, just different kinds. And Jon is P whipped 🤣

Robert L

Yo Mair and Sophie are psychopaths lmao. JK JK JK. They were all for Dany killing everyone when she started lol.

Robert L

I'm glad I subscribed to this patreon. This is probably the most unique reaction to this episode. Most people were horrified with this episode. You guys were justifying it. I def agree with killing Cersei. She is too dangerous to keep alive. I don't agree with murdering 1 million innocent people.

tmccurdy87

Y'all, I can understand and appreciate most everything you guys are saying about this episode, the season, etc. BUT when you say they Dany HAD TO DO THIS TO WIN...that's just obviously not true. As soon as the bells started ringing, the soldiers threw their weapons down, and we saw Cersi close her eyes realizing she lost, it was over. All Dany had to do was fly to the Red Keep and finish off Cersi. Done. Then she would have had both the fear she wanted, and the respect of the people, and could have started to make them love her (like she kept saying she wanted). But then she went on a murder rampage...making it so she could never have the love of the people she so badly wanted.

Chaz D

What do you mean if Dani didn’t do it like that she would of lost? As soon as the bells rang she won, idk how you can defend her going on and still killing thousands of innocent people after that. And that’s coming from someone that loves her. I’m more pissed at the show writers for having her do that bc to me it doesn’t fit her character at all. Once the bells rang she should of flown straight to the red keep and finished off Cersei. Actually defending her burning everyone when she didn’t need to is crazy

IQLou

Comments are gonna fry ya'll. And tbh I agree with most but will approach with empathy. Hope you guys think again about supporting mass murdering of innocents because no one was making excuses for Joffrey, Ramsey, Cersei for being tyrants. Dany is no different than her dad at this point. Everyone hates Melissandre for burning ONE little girl we loved. Dany burned tens of thousands of Shireen's in Kings Landing who we would of loved too if we knew their story. Think about that..

ramon carter

dany burned women and children alive for no reason everyone surrendered the battle was over she still could have went and got cersei without killing thousands innoccents

ramon carter

i thought Sophie was getting it because in episode 4 she said Dany is kinda becoming the villain and Mair was brushing it off i thought to myself Sophie just predicted where this is headed im shocked they were cool with the raping and killing the women and children Jon wasnt cool with it

SwO Beatz

The reaction subverted expectations in the same manner that D&D wrote season 7 and more so, season 8 😂

Luke Gressel

I consider myself a true lover of GoT from Books to the show--- while season 7---- and especially 8 are rushed-- i dont think we should be saying "this person dying is stupid"---- Ned Stark dying was stupid. That is the only thing the show held onto from the beginning and did not change. The execution of it could be infinitely better, but the season 8 effect has us just mad at everything

Chaz D

Kinda feel bad how much Mair and Sophie are getting blasted in the comments but it’s def not surprising. Justifying the killings of so many children and innocent people is wild. For sure a unique reaction to this episode lol

D Gyre

I would understand (and fully agree with) an argument that this is out of character for Dany and its bad writing. that the Dany the show has previously established would not do this, she protects and free's innocents, she doesn't burn them. I cannot understand or agree with an argument that there is any justification for killing tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of people who had no control over what Circe did, who had no choice in whether or not they went to the wall, and who didn't need to die because Dany had already won. There was nothing gained except making her feel better about her own rage and guilt. Dany was supposed to be different from the rest, but its okay that she isn't because "that's how life is" and "this is game of thrones?" If I'm going to despise Circe for doing horrible things, Dany doesn't get a pass when she does even worse. Again, I think its just bad/rushed writing and it doesn't fit with her character earlier on, so I hold that against the show. I basically don't care about anything that happens after the Long Night. What kind of ruler do you think Dany will be after this? After crossing the line and burning innocents? You think she'll ever have anything but rule by fear?

Black Valyria👸🏿🐲🔥🌋

CONGRATS GOT DEMONIZERS‼️ Y'all bagged more Summer Children🎉 Y'all go around pounding negative perspectives into impressionable ppl & b4u kno it they're watchn a different show pulln stuff out of left field (ie Jon was scared), just to align w yall but its for complete off based observations. Hope y'all don't find the new crop. They seem rational so far. One thng ab ths show its like Trump...lets u kno what the population character among us. I was feeling like nvrmind the lore they need to watch the writers post ep interviews to at least know what they watched but the level of irrationality supercedes what was actually written (gd or bad) for the expectation of a story personally written to plz thm/antiGOT/antis7s8 all y'all lol. Warning...stay away from all things GRRM, M. Night, & Shakespeare like. Better writing thn 7 & 8 but mos def nvr fairytales‼️....still lol at the reaction 'She doesn't want to be Queen of the ashes shes not going to kill innocent ppl' FFW... Jon: "What ab the ppl?" Dany: "They don't get to choose (whats gd or bad)" Mad Daddy Spirit: #BurnThemAll! Lmao

Gunnar

Yikes, just yikes. Murdering hundreds of thousands of innocent ppl is never justified(Especially after they ALREADY SURRENDERED) and it makes Danaeyrs just as bad as every villain in the show, she’s got the most kills to her name. Being this devoted to Dany still shows you don’t understand, and missed countless details and hints towards her character. I love her character, but she’s crazy af, and always has been, doesn’t mean she can’t do morally good things along the way tho(Which is why everyone gets blinded when she’s freeing slaves, freeing slaves≠being a good person) In the books Dany is even more evil, and the story will end the same way, it’s just gonna actually make sense

Tml826

I had a feeling this reaction would go this way. I’m excited to see how you feel about the last episode. I agree mair although it’s quick it’s not the worst season. Had it been drawn out for 9 seasons it would’ve made so much more sense.

Dani 💤

Anyways IM SO HAPPY YALL supported dany 😭. Cuz honestly bro same bro same whether she went mad or not. Dumb actions get you dumb consequences . Should’ve never killed her bestfriend INFRONT OF HER??!! Then gon try to pull out last second nah. STAND ON THAT. As for the people of kingslanding. Me personally I didn’t care those the same people almost raped sansa. Cheered for Ned’s death. DIDNT LEAVE THE CITY WHEN CERSEI CAME INTO POWER?? And also fire and blood stuff. I didn’t care at that point because of how bad they butchered the characters at least SOMEONE GOT THEY LICKBACK!! However book dany would never 😭

Dani 💤

Overall though this season doesn’t exist 😂.

ramon carter

Yhall right about Jon though all he says this season is she is my queen and i dont want it! lmao

Trae Young Supremacist

Everyone mad at them for their reaction to the ending. I hope you continue to be mad. They clearly explained their reasoning throughout the episode, and you may not agree with it, but the logic is there. Not everyone is going to take crap for years and years. Danny is tired of turning the other cheek

SimoneCherie

I love your reactions even though ya'll are the hardest Dany's stans I've ever met and I was never a fan lol

Josh Hargrave

I love Dany. She was one of my favorite characters in the show. I still loved even after she did all this but she was definitely in the wrong. This was all Cersie's fault but Dany didn't need to kill all those innocent people when the bells were already rung. They already surrendered. She literally could've just flown to the Red Keep and killed Cersie. I'm not taking Cersie side but I'm not taking Dany's side either even tho I love her. She murdered thousands of people. At this point she's no different than Cersie or all the other evil people in the show. It's unfortunate. I do think they def should've had more episodes to develop her into the mad queen. It all happened way too fast.

SimoneCherie

Hound did everything he could to kill his brother EVERYTHING - he chose to die in his hatred instead of letting it go. Arya came to kill Cersei and it almost killed her too.The Hound gave her the right advice.

Jose

I feel like a lot of people justifying Daenerys going mad or they saw from a mile away, are just making stuff up, like that was never her character D&D just wanted to make her into a villain. Also I don’t know how so many people in comments section say they read the books, and say Daenerys is more of a villain or in the books or it will end the same way. Like stop lying to yourself. You haven’t clearly read the books.

I❤️movies&tvshows

Watching these reaction videos really shows you the intelligence level and the morals of the reactors. It’s almost a psychological study showing the same episodes to different people and watching the different reactions. I have watched over 20 GOT reactors. From teenage boys to old men, to married couples and divorced singles, to former military people and to housewives. To be fair these two talk over 25-45% of the dialogue. In particular this episode. Then they don’t understand why Jon is pulling away from his aunt who wants to have sex with him. Or are asking questions to things that had they just waited to talk instead of talking over the characters all of their questions would be answered. So some part of all this Dani support, including cheering on murdering 1 million people at her command, is because they didn’t really grasp the deeper meaning of what was happening. They missed so much dialogue that everything people are trying to tell them here they can’t understand. They didn’t even hear any of the conversation about Missandei or understand that. Varys said at least three times that Jon doesn’t believe in marrying his Aunt but still can’t understand what’s wrong with Jon. Then they have absolutely no understanding of Jon trying to stop men under his command from slaughtering people who surrendered. Did Jon letting the wildlings through the wall get erased from their memory? Do you think a man who stands up for his beliefs is going to let his men kill surrendered soldiers? Do you think a man who is honorable will commit incest with his Aunt? Ned Stark was murdered because of exposing the truth about the incest but they think he slept with his sister? They watched the show but never really understood Ned or Jon’s morals. If they did understand it those questions would never have been asked. They saw Dani fly down the street and purposely burn that mother and child. Then say well that was a weird scene what was the point of that. If Dani can see and burn the night king from up in the sky she could clearly see the mother and little girl in the street and ordered her dragon to burn them. I don’t know how you justify that. That wasn’t her soldier or someone else doing it she burned them alive on purpose! People hold different moral beliefs then other people. For some the line between black and white is more gray then what others see. That’s why they need a long break before the next episode to try to process their thoughts. All of us know what happens in episode 6. As the story wraps up maybe it will shed some light on the deeper insight into certain things. I think this is the first time I can say 6 is going to be a learning experience for the reactor. I can only hope that for the last episode they will do what most other reactors do which is use the PAUSE button when they want to make a comment and LISTEN to every word of dialogue.

Film Head

I respect everyone’s opinion and views on how they felt about Dany’s reaction but if she really was who she say she was. She could’ve just burned Cersi and let the innocent people live. Can’t justify it by the people she lost if that’s the case then Cersi madness could be justified. Jon lost people too it’s a war I feel like condoning that anyone can come along later and say they are noble and take over the same way. If all rulers take over the same way you would only be siding with one over the other by preference at that point not because they are different, and y’all both did agree with Jon when he told her on the beach that she would be more of the same if she use the dragons to melt castles. Lol I still rock with y’all heavy though it’s been a fun ride watching y’all reactions.

Mair is killing me rn bc half his commentary is based on comments he read about season 8 or whatever. There’s no original thoughts, he’s looking for ways to justify the negative opinions. And the reason is that he sees what’s happening with Dani, and for whatever reason he can’t cope with it. I’m not sure why people think shows are supposed to make them happy, or have their favorite characters always win. It’s gotta be a Gen Z thing, but it’s weird. Just be entertained.

React2Reactions

“People can be reborn,” Mair says. Ok lol. Nothing matters. Then he talks about the relativism of good and bad 😂 Then they’re getting mad at the show bc they don’t like what’s happening on it. They’re grasping at straws trying to justify a character they got attached to. They did this with Breaking Bad too y’all. They should really only watch shows that they know the outcome of beforehand. I saw this coming with them a mile away.

JohnxThex5th

Im glad im not the only one who was happy to see Dany destroy Kings Landing

Sauffhia Rosier

I've never seen two people fight so hard to justify a massacre. y'all done lost your minds thinking that Dany destroying kingslanding and slaughtering innocents is justified just to get Cersei out. Why didn't she just fight to the redkeep and take the tower down with Cersei in it? She had a taste for blood and madness since the beginning. She had a few loyal advisors like Jorah to keep her on a leash and just a bit sane, but she is just like her father; "queen of the ashes" is what she aimed for. Neither she nor Cersei was fit to rule. She is a conqueror like her ancestors; her obsession with and wanting the iron throne was simple greed, and she wanted to prove a point that she could rule, since no one considered her before her dragons were born because she's a woman. y'all are wild for this. This is the worst reaction to the finale ever. feels like you both skipped the last 7 seasons and went straight to watching season 8. Dany is no hero, and Cersei deserved to die. y'all are not being objective or rational.

Chuckie

‘’I’m not blaming Dani this could have been avoided, it’s Cersei's fault” ARE YALL PURPOSELY BEING STUPID? THEY FUCKING SURRENDERED AND RANG THE BELL AND DANI STILL KILLED THEM! You both just can’t accept that your heavenly queen is a devil. She is no different than her crazy father, her only goal was the throne and it didn’t matter who she killed. How is that the mark of a great leader? She became the dictators she was fighting against the whole series. There is no justification for her killing innocent civilians after the city had clearly surrendered. The fact y’all cheering and fist bumping and saying “I don’t care how bout that” because its Dani’s revenge is so unbelievably stupid. Revenge for what? So because Cersei outsmarted her numerous times her revenge is killing the very people she supposedly was there to liberate? What did they do to her? Dani never cared about the people, she cared about her reign, it’s why she wanted John to be dishonorable and lie to his sisters about his real identify. She was jealous of him. She is a selfish woman and she was no different than Cersei. At least Cersei was unapologetically a villain, Dani on the other hand pretended to be virtuous until she landed in Westeros and realized no one cared who she was so then she decided to rule by fear! She’s a fraud and I’m glad she was killed by John! Poetic justice!

mgamer327 .

@19:22 Sophie is always pissed because the show cuts the dialog?? these 2 do it to their PATREON members ALL THE TIME!! I cancelled my sub immediately because of the constant audio muting of the show/movie

mgamer327 .

i almost didn't watch this reaction vid because of the Patreon comments. Daenerys should have gone straight to the Red Keep ONLY to kill Cersei!! but OMFG Mair & Sophie consistently justified the genocide of hundreds of thousands of innocent people!! Daenerys from Season 2 and onward: "I will burn cities to the ground" she has said this shit at least 1/2 dozens afterwards, there was no immediate turn to mad Queen. and these 2 still don't get it? And I had high hopes for Mair's input, but he was always poisoned by Sophie's POV. now i really get all the Patreon & YT comments. and no one gives a fuk about your episode ratings, i will not even say why
