I would agree if Silva is available for a season long loan next season it’s a no brainier. There would be no bedding in period, getting to know his teammates, how the manager wants to play etc. Also Colin, I’m not sure how thrilled David will be with your intro music choices this week 😂

There’s no obligation to go to the Man United friendly for people, I don’t understand what all the moaning is about. The price range is not ideal however that is not set by Rangers and they will just be picking up a fee, there is one of these fixtures on every year at Murrayfield. It was Liverpool v Napoli a couple of years ago and it was well attended by lots of tourists willing to pay the high prices. If Rangers fans want to go the option is there if not don’t go 🤷‍♂️

£40 for a friendly is steep to begin with, never mind when one side wont even have their full side in attendance. Adding travel costs, food and a drink or two... that's probably the best part of £100. I'd rather wait and see who we are travelling to play. With cheap flights I could spend the same and get to visit a fun country.

My feeling is Wolves will try and sell Silva in the summer with ffp rules it would make sense for them even if they only get half their money back. If he gets 5-6 goals from now until season end then he has been a worthwhile loan.

That’s the point though isn’t it there’s your preference to spend your money on going on an away trip which is perfect, everyone has that option or preference without some of them moaning like fuck about it, just don’t go to it if they don’t want to, moaning about it isn’t going to change anything. Getting to an away trip is the preference for me too but I will still go to this, I’m not interested in who’s playing for Man United. Only there to see the Gers 👌🔴⚪️🔵

It's fine to say that, but ultimately it's slightly disingenuous. It suggests you'd be perfectly happy if you turned up and United had pulled out and been replaced by Brora Rangers FC. Opponents matter, you can't play football with just one team and in this scenario the reason it's so expensive and pricing out some fans is down to who that other team is. Fans are being asked to pay a premium but aren't going to get the premium product.

The point of these posts is for fans to post their thoughts and opinions lads, it is to gauge the mood of the fans and get the general consensus and it’s not moaning to say the price is simply far too high for a friendly, a lot of the support feel that way so u can state it without moaning

But that's the whole point, I'd have liked to go to see a full Man Utd squad vs Rangers, for similar reasons I enjoy watching us play top teams in Europe. That's not what we are getting though. We're being asked to pay the premium price knowing from the get go we're not getting the premium product. It's like going to a restaurant in the mood for a steak, seeing the Filet Mignon on the menu but being told what you'll actually get is a thin piece of frying steak, despite having to still pay the full price. I'm still in the mood for steak but it's no longer as appealing as the menu or price made it seem.

Yeah I believe it would be good for Silva to stay for another year as his parent club could really see him thrive and develop at a Massive club where expectation is everything. We're never going to buy him, so why not take the opportunity at loaning him again but for a full Season. Seems like it makes sense for us and the Player.

Rangers women won the sky sports cup last season we beat hibs 2-0 lizzie Arnot and Kirsty howat. Jane got her acl injury at spartans the start of pre season last season.
