It's another two-man booth this week as Shane and David spend an hour ripping Todd for believing the international break applies to him too. Your really smart ideas about The Wire are wrong; WWE meets Queen in Rockford; gambling in sport is a thing that keeps giving until you get caught; and David reviews a movie about water.

The Wire season 2 is absolutely the best. Good Will Hunting is also a belter of a movie. 😆

Iain Shaw

Ha - my mate used to be in Peteloaf's backing band. Definitely the best-named tribute act.

Graham Roy

Hope you and friends are ok Shane after the incident in Rockford! 💙

David Baillie

Great show guys. Favourite tribute act? Amy Housewine. 😂 Mon the Cards.❤️

Same from me Shane. Condolences to the families & friends of the poor victims. Random, senseless violence to innocent folk by a fkin asshole - pity there's no death penalty in Illinois any more.

Gary Brown

Thanks for the CROpod boys, always gives me a laugh.

Martin Boyd

Great show best tribute bands Aussie Pink Floyd and Rumours, Fleetwood Mac. Re the Italian football stuff I’m sure you have both read ,The miracle Of Castel di Sangro , very good book but the guy who wrote it and stayed with the players for a season really didn’t understand what he was doing. Or the Italian leagues.

Robin Williams was brilliant in it - he should have never missed the game though

We used to drink in the Brechins Bar in Govan before the game, shady as fuck boozer and they had a poster up for the weekend’s live entertainment, a karaoke night; on it was a picture of the act, a guy with a “well lived-in face”, scars and all. His gig name? “Okey Dokey Gary-oke” 😅

Was all excited for the baseball being back this week. My Mets were the first televised game of the season in the uk too, going into a bank holiday weekend. Rain delay. Fking great.

What's a good way to watch in the UK? I know TNT have a few games, but I want to watch some Pirates games.

If you download the MLB app, they usually have at least one free game most days, sometimes more. I think you can pay a fee for the year on the app which allows you to watch all games. Just looked there and on Tuesday April 9th, Pirates @ Tigers is the free game of the day

The Revenant was the year after Birdman. Eddie Redmayne stopped Kearon winning for Birdman. David - have you tried watching in a different language with subtitles to force you to focus?

Foreign films are actually better for that but again I end up pausing them a lot so a two hour film takes 4. Basically live sport is the only thing that holds my attention.
