I used to love Runrig but not sure it's very staunch these days 😂

Looking forward to listening to this - music is such an emotive thing and as someone used to say to me; ‘There’s only one way in, and, one way out - music’ It’s so true for me anyway - the journeys it can take you on.

Shouldn’t have clicked on the playlist before listening!

Alan Bradley

Yeah, should probably have waited a few days before adding the playlist. Every day’s a school day.

The only time i watched Oasis live was in a venue in the south side of Glasgow, for the life of me i forget the name. It was popular. I think they had just released or were about to release their first single, ‘Shaker Maker.’ Of all the bands they were supporting, St Etienne. Bonkers. They were quite good and about to embark on a mad journey.

I seen them live many times back in my younger days. It was a nice surprise to hear them on the pod

Duncan Wright

Cheers Wilf. As I said on the pod, first band I saw live.

Good listen of your journey Duncan. Manchester has produced so many bands. Some might say is a great song but saw Oasis once in Finsbury Park and left after 3 songs but being honest I only went to see the charlatans who were on before them. Nice one Alan good to have you back.

Yeah, OASIS were my first Band I ever saw live back in 1995. I also recently bought a record player in the past 6 weeks and I bought OASIS live at Knebworth and just at the weekend gone, I bought the Album Definitely Maybe. Absolutely love them as like you, they're my British Band where as Guns n Roses are my U.S Band My vinyl collection so far consists of: RUSH x 3 Albums Best of Foo Fighters G n R x 2 OASIS x 2 Iron Maiden Nirvana x 2 Rolling Stones from 1974 The Doors Beatles Sgt Pepper I intend to continue to grow the collection with Bands and Albums that desreve to be played on Vinyl. I also went to IBIZA in 96 with 2 mates when I was 17 just a month b4 turning 18. It was also during EURO 96 and I remember watching the game in the same Hotel as the Hollyoaks Crew who were filming in IBIZA at the time 🤣 😍
