Board absolutely bullied by Celtic Surrender monkeys

stephen

Full disclosure, I'm unaffected by today allocation news but it must be very, very difficult for anyone who has been affected to not take this as an absolute slap in the face. Celtic have been given the "European allocation" now there's a precedent for this as those affected by any euro game in the past have been moved by the club to other parts of the stadium. Why can't this be done on this instance also???? Are we again prioritising corporate over our bread and butter? I understand the game is better with away fans I'm just not sure the club are doing all that they can in this instance.

Max Todd

Disappointed that we’re allowing them back in. Atmosphere at OF has still been cracking with 0 away allocation. Can’t believe some of our fan base want to replace Bears in our stadium. What do they enjoy - the rhebel songs, their tricolours or the booing of our minutes silence?!

James Cameron

Bennett and Bisgrove bending over and getting fucked over once again by Lawell

hugh yates

You guys always said we can't give them any more tickets as it will look like we are letting them win It looks like my season tickets will not include the old firm games next season Where's the loyalty for our fans we paid our tickets during covid spend a fortune on tops and get treated like shit

David

Feel for the bears that are having their seats taken away for these games.

mark wyper

I think this decision for the games against them is all to do with sky sports putting pressure on the league .

Colin McL.

Here’s the new Board, same as the old Board… I’m sure we’ll be patronised with a “loyal support” sound bite in due course

Scott Wright (Not That One)

Tough one for the season ticket holders that this will have an impact on. Doesn’t affect me thankfully but I do feel for those who it does affect! Not ever really going to get a scenario where everyone will be happy and I’ve heard both arguments for and against but I’m against this new plan. Goes the other way, I genuinely wouldn’t want to step foot in their midden! Absolutely couldn’t pay me to take a ticket for them away!

Jim McCutcheon

Thanks again Colin & James 🙂❤️🤍💙

Ally Mair

Brenda Rodgers already talking about it returning to full allocation in the future , they better get told to go fuck themselves 700 is all they should have got , sick of this pandering to that mob

Heart and Hand

Tbh I was quite happy with none of them but in all fairness we get more emails about this than any other topic and it’s fans wanting away fans in because they want to support the team at Parkhead. But it should never return to full allocations.

Darren

Full Broomloan by the end of the decade, board are easy fodder for celtc!

Billy Forrester

I don’t think there was any choice about the allocation, sky sports have wanted it and probably held a gun to the spfl’s head and probably threatened to pull their cash from our tinpot league. It is what it is and no point saying we bent over backwards or have been bullied by Tim’s, we have basically done what sky wanted and they put in millions and will get their way. I think it makes for a far better atmosphere also, far better occasion imo when opposition fans are in attendance

Moon Man

New allocation makes sense - imo the games are better with opposition fans in the stadium. But then my seat is unaffected, so can see both sides. Better for the television product too which is one of the few hopes to get a better deal in future.

Andrew Mundt

Fucking disgusted with the allocation decision. Same away corner for everyone was fine.

Andrew Hind

I really don't like no away fans in games against them, however do feel for those losing their seat, in the end it was probably sky would made the decision

Iain Henderson

My kids and I are 3 of those affected by the BR5 allocation change. As I see it, when there is bad news to share, it is about how you handle it. In this case, not unsurprisingly, Rangers have blown it big time. It is unacceptable to say ‘first come first served’; what the fxxx does that mean other than chaos. And ‘tickets for OF games when circumstances permit…. Meaningless drivel. Rangers are the ones who know who is affected, how many in their group; and what their options are in the choices to be made. Grow a pair Rangers, and support people through that as happened with the UB move.

Stephen

People who get moved should be first in line to get an old firm away ticket … 😬

Miguel Sanchez

I think this news is best for the atmosphere I know some say the atmosphere has been great aye when they got scudded 3-0 under Beale at the end of season that was a good laugh however without the away fans to sing in spite of / gee up the home fans in defiance the home crowd can be deflated e.g. game Aaron Ramsey scored early but as soon as they made it 2-1 all the air came out the stadium and we were frustrated and kept at bay and the crowd never got going again. I do honestly feel for any fan that may lose out on a ticket however.

Ecky G

Gutted with this as I am affected. As someone said I feel like this is a slap in the face. No guarantee of where or if I will get another seat next to my son. I am finding it hard to understand why bears would be happy to see other bears do without at our own ground as long as it means they will get a seat in the piggery.

Ecky G

They are not concerned about a loyal support it is all about the paying customer.

Iain Henderson

Absolutely, the club have screwed this one up big time. They have time to fix it. Whether they do or not will make clear where their priorities lie.

Robert Reid Jnr

Very disappointed as I will need to move from my seat.

Colin McL.

The loyal support who invested in STs during the pandemic. Apparently giving the yahoos tickets is now more important…

stephen

That's my problem with it Iain. They already have the fix. I'm absolutely perplexed as to why they aren't simply actioning it. We're fans but they only see customers. As I say I'm unaffected but wrong is wrong.

Gregg

Surely if we have 47k season ticket holders we should be able to accommodate everyone

stephen

I'm genuinely baffled by some who are choosing to basically mock those affected. (Not here I might add, Twitter)

stephen

Do you not think the communication could have been better then David?, people are genuinely worried.

Steven Geddes

Absolutely gutted my season ticket is basically gone, with no Celtic game what is the point I could just buy a ticket for each game I can make. Option 2 is a joke, we know our season ticket waiting list is 25k+ so that's a non starter. After paying for years and through COVID just to be given away to Celtic fans, with zero communication until after it was confirmed is a joke. Real kick in the teeth!

Colin Mathie

The board are a bunch of pu**ies when it comes to this.

John McTrusty

Thanks Colin..appreciate you promoting the raffle. All the best!

Delgers

I'm in the Broomloan Rear but not affected directly by this. However to have them so close to families for these games is asking for trouble in my opinion.

Owen Scott

What I don't understand is that if all season ticket holders are guaranteed tickets for European games then why can they not all be guaranteed a ticket for the Old Firm games. There are seat Movers all the time for Euro games and not just from the Broomloan so why can't they accommodate everyone for this?

Trev @JimmyBell_Loyal

My belief is even a small percentage of silver and bronze have a chance of away tickets including against Celtic. Of course gold has the biggest chance but us peasants still have a wee chance 😂

Rod

What cash, for the pittance they pay us they can GTF.

Rod

Mate, there are seats available all over the stadium. I've not had a season ticket since 2016 and I'm going to the OF game after buying a match ticket through the mygers sale. These are the seats you will be getting and this will probably be my last Old Firm for the foreseeable.

Owen Scott

I've no issue being moved but there are loads around me who have wanted a permanent move for years but could never get 2/3 or 4 seats together elsewhere.

Billy Forrester

Without sky our game be a lot worse off mate and I don’t think we are in a position to fuck off a few million pounds per season

Damien Speirs

As someone who is affected, we used to get the option pre 2018 to tick on our renewals to include Celtic games, where you would get moved for those games. It’s so frustrating to not be guaranteed an Old Firm ticket when you follow the club home, away and in Europe - tick all the right boxes and do everything asked of you. Personally I don’t care about where I sit and will benefit when it comes to the increased away allocation for the match at their’s. Shocking though that the club have taken this decision when they can’t guarantee affected fans a ticket. There was a lot more care taken with the moves happening in the Copland but this has not been so well handled.

Tom

I stopped listening to OTB years ago because of the anti Rangers nonsense, (this was when we got put down the leagues) I started listening again a few years later because I thought it was just banter, a lot of water had gone under the bridge etc. but I got about halfway through a show and turned it off, they sounded like they were wanking themselves in to oblivion talking about our problems.
