Have to admit that I’m extremely nervous about the weekend. I think that’s based on our recent record against Celtic and the fact that the majority of the squad are the same ones who have let us all down in the past. In addition there’s a huge carrot of the champions league money for winning the league which would be massive for our club. The game will take care of itself and I trust the manager but I just hope that we do ourselves justice and that the refereeing calls go our way for a change given some of the atrocious calls in the last few old firms. WATP

Graeme Muir

“Post-modern community singing”, love it 🤣

Andrew Watson

Barry Ferguson free kick in the Lovenkrands cup final gets completely forgotten about. His wee white t shirt celebration was terrible though.

John Hood

Richard Gough in 2-2 draw! Noise was off the scale!

Kevin Phillips

Mo Johnston’s goal at ibrox in the last minute and my all time favourite rangers goal the Davie cooper penalty in the 1986 skol cup final

John Graeme Paterson

Kind of famous. But Hateley in the first minute at parkhead in 4-2 win. Dad and uncle were at game. I was only 7. Thought it was an advertisement for the game. Didn’t realise until Miko scored 2nd that it actually happened

Doug

I always feel like this notion of "the majority who've let us down before" is actually a bit of a false narrative. For starters 18/30 players we have are new (2 years or less as regulars), but more to the point, people tend to use that phrase to refer to the main group of Tav, Goldson, Borna, Jack and recently Lundstrum. The way I look at it though, is these are primarily the guys who did actually win the title, the ones who for a period did have the hex over Celtic. They are the survivors. The ones who have let us down are those around them. The numerous players bought who've not been good enough, plus the ones like Kent and Morelos who faded over time and left us for nothing. These are the players who are the real failures, not the ones who've proven they can but then haven't gotten the back up they need from those around them.

Gregg

Loved Kevin Thomson’s goal v them - great wee jinky move and finished. Ferguson bursting through to score one at the Broomy end before he became a tube.

Neil Casey

Favourite Old Firm goal would have to be Mark Hateley's in 1994 NY game at the Piggery. 20 seconds in, bursts through on goal, curls it in past Bonnar before sprinting 60 yards back up the other end to celebrate with the Bears!

stuart wood

Dave King ? 3 days before Old Firm? Making a POSITIVE statement about the club? Bloody hell !!

Lee

One my of favourite 'non' famous was Prso's goal August 2005. Was watching it abroad and one of them had just slagged Andrews off as he picked out big dado 😂

Billy Forrester

Lots of new faces who don’t have scar tissue from them, not an issue whatsoever and we are a different beast under PC. I’m very confident but also nervous as there is so much on the line

Jayson Moore

We were in a mixed pub for the game & there was a certain film was out that year & when we got the free kick I was ‘politely’ telling their fans they were about to see Bend it like Barry. Couldn’t wipe the grin of my face when it went in! 🤣Only night I ended up in a police cell as well but that’s a different story!🤣

David Innes

I’m more cautiously optimistic than confident- I just don’t trust Dessers to lead the line for us whereas they have a striker who consistently turns up for OF games

Douglas Innes

Every " meaningful " goal Vs them means something , don't care so much about goals in defeats If Utrecht want Lammers maybe we could get a player swap if the fee is the problem , obviously the player would have to be one the manager would be happy with

Sandy

My memorable Rangers goal v them was by Nigel Spackman in the Hogmanay 1990 game, my Father had managed to get me a ticket as I’d wangled some leave, but the ticket was for the main stand! Still went,… well worth the sore face!

Elronzo

The Wilkins Volley is a standout memory as my favourite ever Rangers goal against them.5-1 with 20 minutes to go.Souness came off the bench to showboat for the remainder. Took our foot off the gas and should have scored more.

Bill’s truth

Niko Katic header at the piggery- great goal.

Rona Bluebell

I’m incredibly calm about the game. Got a feeling it will be pretty straightforward.

John McMillan

Ian Ferguson's scissor kick in the Skol Cup final against Aberdeen..87 was it? I spent all summer trying to recreate that goal on the red ash pitch near me.

Scott Cameron

Erik Bo Anderson to put us 3-1 up v Celtic in January 1997, a tidy finish but a goal that won me £400 for an Albertz 3-1 scorecast💰

William Hughes

Underrated goal v them is the Bobby Williamson overhead kick in 1984. Jimmy Nicholl was Captain for the day and ended up getting sent off. One of the few times I watched the game from the Copland Road Rear. Underrated game I love, is the New Year game, 1989. They scored in the first minute, then the rest of the first half especially Rangers were all over them. Mark Walters and Derek Ferguson where outstanding. Finished 4-1.

@bluebeans

Less memorable OF goals - Numan scored a beauty and Ness. Edit - we got to Numan 😀

Robin Wemyss

Sone alukos goal against them was a belter

Jamie Gilchrist

Big Ugo’s goal! For all the magnificance of seeing a 6ft 4 defender perform the brilliance of that overhead kick sealing a 1-0 win!! *chef’s kiss

Calum Robertson

Goal that never really gets spoke off, Mols in the 5-1 game, Albertz out to De Boer on the wing low cross to Mols first time sliding finish

BlueJay

Roofe's shoulder-in was incredible

Graham johnston

Sone Aluko goal against them in the 3-2 to stop them winning the league at Ibrox. I appreciate it was an important goal but not one that 1st comes to mind when thinking if big goals

Scott Davidson

Pedro Mendes edge of the box 👌🏻

John McMillan

😂 🙈 heard about lesser celebrated goals...and went straight to that one. If I'm allowed a do over... Alex Clellends looping header... Think we beat them 1-0 that day

Nicholas Dickson

I loved that Gio goal and what a day it was , remember walking into Glasgow and getting sun burnt lol

Alan Shaw

Helanders goal in flanges first old firm. First one I got to share with my son inside ibrox

John stoddart

Two ones I love is a Butcher thunderbastard header at Parkhead and also the one Ian Ferguson hits a free kick so hard it knocks Pat Bonner off his feet and Super ally headers it in from 3 inches. I think it was already over the line lol

Ross Gourlay

Charlie Adam stroking it under the wall at Ibrox

Bryan Chalmers

My favourite old firm goal wasn’t a cracker but it was Flo’s goal against them in November 2000 in our 5 1 win. He had signed a few days before but it was also my 9 year old son’s first ever old firm game. After we settled down after the celebrations I turned round and my son was in tears. When I asked why, he simply said “oh dad I’m just so happy “. Hopefully he will be in tears again on Sunday….

John Breen

Rod Wallace (2000) 1-0 at the piggery. We got battered all game and he showed up with a late winner. I had some fun at work that Monday

Drew Gill

McCoist at their place, 27 seconds, back in '83

Grant Watson

Have I missed the Flagship this week guy's? I thought I heard David say it was being recorded on the Tuesday?

Colin R

Drinkell’s header in the 5-1 in 1988. Cracking old-school goal (winger skins his man, crosses, powerful header) but also it was the fourth goal of the game and you could hear the crowd realize that this was going to be a gubbing and the start of something special. Nine seasons later…
