Dougie

Bin all these serial.losers, bottlers and shitebags. Can't think.of more than 3 players I'd keep. A disgrace to our club.

Ian Cartledge

This is not going to be a great listen!🤬

Spotify Turkey

Another season, another title for a Celtic. Better players than us, better manager and another season where the east end beasts will celebrate and will probably overtake our trophy count in the next 3 months

chris smith

Then end of this season and this team. Laughed at by a bunch of English League Two jobbers.

Alan Shaw

Just like the rangers team. There's no defence

Stuart Sheils

I want to get everyone at the club in a line and shake them individually.

David Hanlon

The league is over, that shower are not going to beat them at celtic park. The best we can hope for is a Scottish cup. We don't have a goal scorer end of.

Glyn Davies

The same group of bottle merchants let us down again (oh what a surprise) Tav, Goldson, Lundstrum are meant to be leaders! They couldn't fight there way out of a wet paper bag! When the heat is on they shat it again! How many seasons must we endure the same players bottling it & not being moved on 🤬 when we have to chase we can provide big results, but when we have an advantage or are right in the mix & need a big result to give us an advantage we don't turn up! The County goals are scandalous from our perspective, the MF & Defence are howling.....Dowel & Lundstrum just coasting back towards goal when our defenders are all over the place (insert sarcasm)👏👏👏

Alan

It's that time of the season that the same old faces shit their pants and without fail they did. I should be angry but I am not as it's happened far too often.

David Innes

Clement is becoming a victim of his own (relative) success in his first few months . We should never have been in contention - the squad isn’t good enough to get us over the line as was proved last week

William Duncan Scott

No fight. No urgency. Absolutely atrocious performance. Got what we deserved. Fkn raging

Graeme Glennie

There's a common denominator every year. Can we please stop doing this to ourselves? Tav, goldson etc. it has to stop. Can we move on to a new era. I can't go back to Ibrox next season seeing the same players.

William George Bell

A competent regular goal scorer is correct David, their striker Murray who scored Ross County’s first goal has 17 goals to his name this season as many as Dessers which says it all really.

KAD87

Not sure if/why anyone is surprised…we shouldn’t be. Go two down to Celtic, then we start playing. Go to 3-2, then we start playing. Go behind to Celtic and go down to 10 men at New Year, then we start playing. Lose enough points against the jobbers so the league is gone…then we beat them in the league when it’s too late. It’s the same old pish every year.

Gordon Watson

Failure to win second balls in every section of the pitch killed us today. A lack of application at a key moment yet again. Genuinely thought we could’ve lost that 4-1 or even 5-1 the way it totally fell apart. There’s too many mediocre English players in Scotland at Rangers on a big game safari dialling it in when it counts the most. Bitterly disappointed. Again.

Paul

The manager's done incredibly well, however his team selections have been questionable. Deciding to go with Dresses and Silva for the rest of the season seems negligent (When we all said so) The manager needs to overhaul the core of the squad. His supposed leadership group isn't providing much leadership at all. Yet he likes them... He also thinks Scott Wright is good enough to start...

Alistair McInnes

That’s the first game I’ve watched under big Phil that I wasn’t sure what the game plan was. His faith in some of the players has determined his lack of subs at half time when they were needed. Could change every outfield player on Wednesday and they wouldn’t have an argument.

Garry kirkwood

Result been coming. Was surprised we clawed it back next week. I still think they’ve a draw/loss in them…but a think we do aswell unfortunately

Colin Hutchison

Lundstrum is a guy heading out the door, he has been strolling for weeks same with Borna. Neither should pull on the top again.

Doogz

For the second week running the manager got his team wrong. He deserves a lot of credit for taking this lot to be in with a chance of the league going to the split after shambles he inherited from Beale. We looked very tired prior to the international break, but we had that rest and now look worse. Could do a character assassination on the cowards who let us down today, but let’s hope the thought of giving Lundstram a bumper 2 or 3 year deal is now off the table .

Neil Wilson

The fact that Clement was able to galvanise a poor squad into something where we are still competing on two fronts is impressive given what he inherited. However, you can see there's issues with squad quality and balance. The defence needs strengthened. The midfield isn't balanced or mobile enough to offer protection to the defence, so we're constantly exposed. Our main strikers aren't prolific enough.

Derek MacMillan

Slips and Turns in a title race and the first blip makes everything terrible. It was a stinker today, but win on Wednesday then in the cup and things can be back on track. Let's see, I dont think Celtic will not drop points between now and the end of the season.

Mark Rennie

Clement said on radio scotland that he had to get minuted into dowel and barisic. There's a time and a place to get minutes into players, and 7 games to go in a title race ain't that time. Clement has made massive line up mistakes in the past 2 games

Andrew Rennie

Lack of quality kills us. Dessers puts one of they golden chances away we run away with it same happened beales last game he missed two great chances. Roofe has to start from now on

Martin Sutherland

Just about to listen… what about those corners? Tav got his 60 degree out today. Dreadful

John Davidson

When all is said and done we're simply not good enough. I don't buy into the 'bottlers' narrative. It's more likely that the squad masqueraded as better than they actually are for a period. We were always going to lose form at some point and we don't have the quality to keep winning when playing poorly.

Bob McMillan

Wait a minute...theres people who compared Dessers to Boyd?? Wow

Latimer

A magical leadership team, so talented they can make managers disappear

CJT

Well done for not shirking it guys. Hugely disappointing but not (or shouldn’t be if we’re honest) surprising. Same guys unable to deliver when the chips are down. It’s mentality. Deny it all you like but too much evidence now. It’ll be massive overhaul but needs done.

Bob MacCallum

Can't believe what I'm hearing re Dessers now. Podders on here have been culpable of revisionism recently, telling how he's "contributed" and using his stats. 2 weeks ago, I got slagged on here, with fans telling me to " support" him and the team because I've been calling him a DUD since August. I said at the end of January that failure to sign a proper striker then would cost us dearly. Title has gone now. This shower can partly redeem themselves by winning the cup but the way it's going I can't see that. Still, I'll keep " supporting" the team but not the dud from dudsville, in the United States of Duds.

Stewart Thomson

I'm off the Lundstram bus and I won't be getting back on. Absolutely no chance should he be offered a new contract.

Andrew Hind

Same players let us down at vital moments every season, time for a proper clear out starting with the centre backs

Scott Tolmie

The most worrrying thing for me is clement said 2 weeks ago tav has a few years left in him, he’s having a laugh.

GlasgowBear

Tav is going to be one of the most “successful” yet most undecorated players to ever play for us. Time for us to start prioritising trophies over individual accomplishments. Tav, Goldson, Lundstram are all senior, experienced players. They’re also serial losers. Time to go. Everyone who’s out of contract in summer. Time to go. Anyone we can get money for. Time to go.

Tamus

The manager fqt up today He also fuqt up last week.

maccalsa

Being his manager, he's hardly going to "oh yeah, Tavs done". Regardless of his real opinion. Think about it sir

Greg

Our Sunday league defending and refusal to actually work hard means we were never winning that today, not even with the mythical shankland leading the line.

Doogz

After poor first half, you expect a Rangers team to regroup focus and come out fighting 2nd half, we managed to be poorer, Cantwell is only player I’d give pass marks too, continued to try get on ball to make things happen, sadly he had 2 empty jerseys in Dowell and Lundstram, I hope I don’t see either at Ibrox next season.

Craig Scott

League over let the clear out begin

Rona Bluebell

Derek, I do hope you’re correct and are the most levelheaded listener ever. 🤞🏻 💙

Iain McHolm

This is still a hangover from our inept board who after sacking GVB trusted a PE teacher with a budget to buy a full squad

Paul Black

Last week's game I started to doubt giving Lundstram a new contract, after today any talks should be discontinued. Manager needs to have a serious think about Tav in the summer. Saving grace is he knows who the others, usual, suspects are on the list to leave. There's others as well Lawrence being one that will be on a high wage and could punt to a Championship side and raise funds. So disappointed today!!

David Watson

Folk on here blaming the manager - he didn’t sign these shitebag duds - I’ll judge him next Xmas, with his own team. Lundstram’ a attitude, in particular, was appalling today - a guy running down his contract, a la Morelos and Kent last season..

Ewan Christie

Fucking losers to a man. Team needs ripped out root and stem.

maccalsa

The club had a philosophy of buy small sell high, it made a lot of sense, develop and move on. At some point we got wrapped in the terror of Celtic going on another run and not capitalising on Morelos and Kent and aribo when we could. Now we've bought a bunch of players, and I'm not sure any of them have a value equal or better than what we bought them for. We spent (for us) a small fortune last summer. Are we expecting to do that again?

Jim Stewart

Thought after the first half the team would have stepped up as we should have been behind but got worse unforgivable absolutely unbelievable

Brian Rae

John Lunsdram has performed for about 5 months of a 36-month contract. Even contemplating offering him a new deal is fucking madness and their decision-making should be questioned. Our midfield rarely controls the game against anyone and cannot track runners. Our style of play is more kick and rush than quick tempo passing and if we're being honest, we've not been a great watch for well over a month. Tav continually runs towards the ball, even if it's on the left side of the pitch and is all over the place. Goldson looks like a lame horse when he runs and should've been replaced last summer. We desperately needed a striker in January but instead, the narrative was put out to the press that there was no money. That's amateurish at the boardroom level and the money should've been found. I dread to think what type of cheap patchwork job will take place in the summer.

Ryan Stewart

Let’s face it, this team has a long list of bottle jobs to look back on. This sits right at the top of that list. I’d be amazed if we beat Dundee on Wednesday never mind going away to Celtic and winning. Let this be the end of them please, and I mean all of them

Jim Stewart

I texted in our group in the first half thank fuck they have a Dessers but their Dessers managed to score second half our Dessers keeps on smiling

mark wyper

Goldson and lundstram can't be playing the next two games lundstram is back to his usual pish slowing everything down and goldson is a bomscare and he's not going to get better and roofe needs a run in the team .

james whyte

Let the clear out commence. Mr Koppen, I wish you good luck. You're going to need it to turn this squad around.

John Jamieson

Says volumes of the squad that the manager needs to be perfect with every decision he makes for it not to cost us

AGS

Hopefully the Saudi rumours come true and he buggers off

Calum Downham

Under Gio we were guilty of switching off after going 1 up, looks like that’s what happened today. Absolute criminal considering what’s on offer. Feel for the manager, as someone said on the pod it looks like the miracle he has performed this season has ran out of momentum and the limitations of the squad is now apparent again. As well as the mistakes mentioned on the pod made by the manager today, he was also straight down the tunnel on full time whistle, no acknowledgment of opposition manager. Face of thunder too

stefan strzelecki

Shocking performance. The defence is a shambles. Goldson should be dropped for Balagan. We need the players to respond , to situation they created. I wouldn’t write off the league just yet. I guarantee post split fixtures will see us playing the scum in the first two weeks. We are a bit, off form, no better opportunity to pour salt on open wounds . That’s how the computer works right? Agree about squad renewal , lundstrum was demanded to set the tempo today. In the absence of diomande he was exposed as bang average , just like our entire back line .

Latimer

Lundstram played like a guy who bowled oot the dancin at 3 o'clock this morning, woeful

Christopher Gray

No matter what happens at the end of this season we need to replace the spine of this team again. Manager the last few weeks has been guilty of tinkering too much or trusting players when there’s no evidence to do so. We have looked rusty at times and haven’t put together a full 90 minute performance for weeks. And as always, we will see multiple failures in the lead up to us losing goals and it’s the same players and the same mistakes constantly.

Rod

Colin mentioned the manager playing chess. I think he has been overthinking his team selection for weeks. It doesn't need to be that complicated.

PR__92

For months all I've heard is there will be plenty of twists and turns in the run in and and we just need to keep in touch with celtic (When they had a big lead post Beale) now it's happening it's a full meltdown I'm not saying we are going to win anything as the Phil keeps saying it's a story a story we have no say in writing that's down to the characters it's up to them if it's a happy ending or not.

Derek MacMillan

Doesn't change too much. means our mentality can't change at Parkhead and it is must win. Lose on Wednesday and I'll change my mind tho 😅 Still in our hands!

Sandy Fraser

Sick to the back teeth of this rangers team. Been knocked so many times over the last 3 years and bounce straight back up. It’s getting wearisome. Getting to the stage I’d be happy to see Tav, Goldson, Lundstrum etc all go.

Lance Grant

We waved goodbye to £50m today and that'll hurt the transfer ambitions. We've got no option with Diamonde, but I think we'll be unlikely to get Cortes now, Sima is gone and it'll be freebies and loans next season as well. And all because a bit of effort was too much to ask for.

Andrew Proffitt

Correct. I watch English League one regularly and RC would be relegation material without a shadow of a doubt. We cannot be surprised at how things turn out if we continually fail to address the problem regarding a number of players who are just not up to the job. Deep down we all know who they are whether we want to admit it or not.

David Tod

Clement may not have recognised his team in the first half of the Old Firm but we had all seen the bottle-crashing bastards before.

Colin Mathie

Did Clement shake Cowies hand or not, I hope he did it off camera?

stefan strzelecki

Still think the postponement of original Dundee fixture, was bizarre, and has subsequently diminished the momentum created from reaching the summit of the league. That’s the fragility of this Rangers squad. Perhaps , other SPFL teams knew this was the something required, to fracture our title charge.

Rod

I suppose if you want to try and look at it positively the league is still in our hands. Win the 6 remaining games and we win the title no matter what.

ivor swan

That had a look of them in 2010-11 against Inverness and we know how that ended

Heart and Hand

You are absolutely correct and usually there’s nobody more optimistic than me (maybe Strider actually). It just doesn’t feel that way right now.

Alastair Thomson Mills

I suppose there’s always hope. But I just can’t see anything but a Celtic league title. Clement has done wonders. He bought three players in January and has only had the use of one. Diomonde. I personally think Dessers is mince. But yeah it’s a massive blow. Celtic will not go on winning leagues for eternity. Clement will be given money and can get rid of the dross and bring his own players in. Celtic will build on what they have so it’s not going to be easy. But I think given time Clement cud come good but for now it’s pain. Clement is working with Beales team so yeah a long way back. The only way we turn this around this season is if Celtic drop points but I cannot see that at all. Celtic are winning ugly So I do think it’s all but over. If we can’t beat second best team in league we won’t be beating Dhims at Sharkhead. Obviously if we win all our remaining games we win league but I just don’t trust the same old to do it for us. I feel sick. Those players have let us down big time again…

Lewis

You're not winning a league with Dessers as your main striker. Your luck runs out eventually. But what a nice guy he is etc etc

Jim McCutcheon

Yes bottling it is the way it definitely seems too be am afraid we huv seen it before with more or less the same group of players, rip up an start again next season easy to say but this group have proved they are not the way forward imo

Colin Mathie

Not sure how you can defend Butland, he cost us the 2nd goal, just parry the ball round the post ffs.

James Macleod

Tav and Goldson played so poor last week it was strange to see both start again. Neither could control the ball or pass. They were not alone with this. I cant remember a Rangers team who so often miss place passes or play the wrong pass.

David Campbell

Absolutely gutted. I hope the manager gets serious backing this summer to empty that dressing room or he will find himself in the same position as beale and gvb with this team.

Doogz

Like to think I’m a glass half full guy, but after witnessing that today you think that lot will summon up the courage to beat Dundee and dispose of Hearts next weekend? Shankland must be licking his lips looking at that riot of a defence.

Derek Bradley

Effort levels were unacceptable. Outfought all over the pitch. Today wasn’t a league winning side. 2 defeats and a draw in the last 4 league games. The wheels have fallen well and truly off

Doogz

Clement will have known for long enough now who is good enough and who is surplus going forward. Got to hope between him and Koppen they can bring proper defenders to the club, along with bit class in middle of park and a centre forward capable of burying chances 1st time

George Mclachlan

It's time to move on from this leadership group (LOL). Complete let downs year on year.

James Anderson

The serial losers of Tav, Goldson, Lundstrum....still feel untouchable. Unless Clement makes an example of some of them, they will get to see off another manager.

Alastair McGeoch

Clement has spoken a lot about what he has been instilling into the players and what they have taken on board but it’s been clear for a number of seasons now that the leaders in the dressing room are not Rangers level (3 trophies out of the last 15 isn’t good enough). You cannot coach a winning mentality into the likes of Tav, Goldson, Lundstrum, Barisic etc as 4 managers have tried to now. The first problem we need to fix in the summer is to get rid of that “senior” level in the squad. When the going gets tough they routinely shit the bed and instead of driving the other players on to raise their levels they leave them hanging time and time again often being the ones to buckle when others don’t. Tav out again saying “we’re disappointed” god only knows how many times we have heard him say that and yet he is incapable of reacting to it. If Clement comes out and retains Tav, Goldson and Lundstrum in the summer because they are his “leaders on the pitch” hell mend him, he’s maybe not the manager we all thought he was after all.

Jay

75% of today's defence are proven, repeated losers. We've all suffered enough surely?

Trev @JimmyBell_Loyal

A lot of bears will forget about Tav and Lundstrum when they start hitting form again. Plus Big Phil has a hard on for Lunny so he’ll get a new deal. David summed it up perfectly, it’s like taking an abusive ex back. I don’t forget and forgive. Called out Tav for a long time now. He simply isn’t a good defender. Good at attacking but when that’s not happening, he’s found out.

Spoon

We have allowed the squad and club to stagnate for too long. We overhype bang average players and seem unable to release people long passed their sell by dates. Lundstrum the bandwagon for this guy has been painful to watch, said from last season the guys a charlatan, he slows us down and is at heart a negative player. Tav is the only one I can see a future for but the more important thing is to churn and refresh players as a natural thing. We hang on too long to guys like they are our mates not like they are players, Rangers isn’t the team on the pitch it’s the club and fans these guys are temporal assets. A few weeks ago some folk wouldn’t allow anyone to challenge mentality, the problem is mentality is only an issue, when it’s an issue. We have lots of fair weather players happy to take the piss out of lower level teams but far too few who want to work and dig out a win. Actually feel sorry for the manager. Only comment I disagree with is around selection, I’m not sure there were many options in terms of the selection it’s clear some players can’t follow instruction. Only thing to cling to is if we win all our games we still win, it’s just taken margin for error out.

Granters

There’s absolutely no way this team gets anything at Parkhead. None. Clement should drop both the Captain and Vice Captain to the bench for the next game, see if it gets a reaction,

Granters

This team gets nothing at Parkhead. They simply aren’t mentally tough enough to get a result there.

Spoon

Your point is fair bud but to me it’s more about managing the health of the squad. We are barebones most weeks with half the squad only able to give 60 minutes I get the feeling he is all about the red zones and terrified of even more injuries which means even less options.

Spoon

On other teams pods I suspect they think he’s a flat track bully who lords it games we control but isn’t up for a fight. Flatters to deceive and the demanding a 10 yard pass then dropping back constantly blows my mind.

Graeme Homer

Same issues that Gerrard rewarded time and time again have came back to haunt us and allowing Beale the opportunity to come back to repeat the same rubbish and spend that amount of money has cost us. Hopefully PC see sense and gets rid of a large amount of them but the money their on may hinder us getting rid of them. Thankfully Lundstram, Roofe, Borna etc are OOC.

Chris Mackrell

I’ve calmed down now but I can just sum it up as bottle jobs…when the chips were down you knew who could be relied on…not a lot . Clement had papered over alot of the cracks- major work needed in the summer

Colin Gardner

We really have to make our minds up regarding our players. When PC came in he inherited a squad in the shite and no confidence. A squad which was on its arse with injuries. Having to play players every week because there was no one else and still like that. (Dessers) We brought in a young boy to help the strikers out and has now been hung out to dry (antics or not). Give Lundstum a contract was the cry, now its get rid. Everyone is spot on, we have a mentality issue but is it any wonder when we are so bi polar in our assessment of our players. We win on Wednesday and we go 1 point behind the poets. This is far from done and I will always choose to believe we can do it until we can't. Stupid...maybe! The odds are stacked against us now but this defeatist attitude has to change. We've went on a run before and we can do it again. This ain't over yet!

PR__92

Me personally I take the approach like a player never get too high or too low just reset after each game but there's nothing wrong with getting carried away as fans either way. Arsenal is my English team so it's been quite a test of my philosophy today 😔😂

Glenn Butler

We’ve taken 4 points from our last 4 league games, 3 of the games which were at Ibrox, and away to Ross County. This bunch had us believing again, probably even believed themselves that they had it won. You can never use the term bottle merchants enough for this squad. We need, somehow, a blank sheet to start from scratch.

Alan Riddell

Shocking performance from the whole team. Defence was a total shambles and as for Dessers, get rid. Tavernier and Goldson are done, great service but if they are still here next season, I give in. Lundstrom should never be given a new contract. Dropped 4 points out of last 6 turns us from potential favourites to no hopers in my view. That team will not win the remaining games, particularly at the away game to them. So pissed off still after watching that pathetic shambolic inept ‘performance’.

James Anderson

If Clememt picks a combination of Tav, Goldson, Lundstrum and Dessers on Wednesday, I fear for his future at Ibrox

Heart and Hand

People react during a season to what they are seeing, it’s part of the reason for following the sport. Calm reflection can come in the summer.

Colin Gardner

Not disagreeing with your comment but in October we had all but written the season off. We've clawed our way back into it and as far as I can see we still have a chance. Even you said David there wil be twists and turns. This is one. We vent and we go go again. It's tipped the balance in their favour but if we can go to Betis and get a result then we can go to their shit tip and win...providing PC picks the right team!

Nikky Cairney

Clement deserves credit for what he’s done to date. Given injuries he’s had to deal with and the shite squad he’s working with. However I haven’t agreed with a single team selection in the league since Hearts at home on 24th February. Since then he’s had to make two subs at half time away to Killie. Make one at half time at home to Motherwell. He’s had to take Scott Wright off on 60 against Hibs and at half time against celtic. And then onto today where he’s had to make a double sub at 54 minutes. That tells me he’s picking the wrong team every week and having to try rectify it. It’s a worrying trend. He’s not working with a good squad by any means but most people are saying the same thing before games when the teams come out.

Scott Kerr

Actually not many in that squad, you really want to be there next season!! 😭

Chris Graham 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

This is probably delirium speaking but In All hope we beat Dundee maybe the Scottish cup comes at a good time of break to get a win and some form and calm in the side Am aff ma head Ano

Alan Cowan

Can't explain how much distain I have for these players today So so angry Apart from Butland, the rest are a joke. If I ever see Tavernier and Goldson play for our proud club again, then I'll call out the management for negligence

Adam Copeland

If Lundstram, Tavernier and Goldson make the 24/25 team photo then we'll be searching for a new manager by Christmas. I really hope PC is smart enough to see this....

Al-WATP

Nikky I totally agree - the gaffer has done a great job but in the last 6-8 weeks we’ve lost something and have been grinding out results after previously winning well. The OF starting 11 was extremely deflating and we follow it up today with some strange decisions; we have to start with our best 11 every game. Players absolutely have been very poor and will rightly take their share of the blame, but like you, I’m starting to have concerns about the managers decisions

Mark Boyd

I agree goldson done. Tav contributes brilliantly in attacking sense but too many times costs us at back. I feel lundstram an easy scape goat. Has been brilliant for us in spells this season. The problem is when our 3 or 4 reliable players don’t play well, we are humped

David Innes

Butland, Yilmaz, Diomande, Sterling, Danilo, McAusland and Sima if we can get him. The rest can go

Gordon Smith

Too many bottlers in the team. We have known it for years. Wholesale changes required in the summer.

David Innes

Tav will start every game between now and the end of the season unless he gets injured. I could see Goldson being dropped for Dundee though

James Anderson

Would anyone today swap Dessers for Murray? If yes....thats how bad it is!

Doug

Tav wasn’t at fault for all goals today 🤷‍♂️

Doug

A little unfair on Tav I think. You said he’s brought nothing, and yes he wasn’t at his best but he still created the most chances of anyone on the pitch, most recoveries in our defence, most key passes in our eleven & unlike our attacking players actually got on the scoresheet & got an assist. He wasn’t at his best but he did contribute.

David Kiltie

Whilst this can be seen as clutching for excuses, I do think the squad’s weekly schedule being screwed up by the postponement may have had an effect on today. When we have been playing two games a week regularly our form has normally been good. We will be the only cup semi-finalist without a full week to prepare it let’s hope we can take the momentum from Wednesday (hopefully a vastly improved performance) into the weekend.

Dave G

Yeah we seemed to lack energy and were second to most balls today, Sterling in the centre of midfield on Weds could be a good move, ultimately can't keep conceding 3 goals in a game! A few months ago I had the feeling that if we scored first the game was done as we were keeping a lot of clean sheets, this doesn't seem to be the case at the moment!

Ross Fisher

Hope Lawrence doesn’t play again guy is like a man down he can’t run tackle or pass

David Kiltie

I think today we saw the value, by virtue of their absence, of Yilmaz and Diomande. In discussions about OOC players, the only one where there has been a debate is Lundstram. I think today tips the balance towards no new contract offer. Also Ryan Jack would have coming useful in a game like today’s.

Alastair McGeoch

Tav as a great stats but the only one that matters in the end at Rangers is trophies won and as Captain his haul is abysmal. Time and again when a crunch match comes, his performance falters and he doesn’t play well. POD talked about lack of press, players lumping it long, where’s he on the pitch? Same against Celtic last week, as captain he gets caught out in 20secs and blows the game plan out the water. Does he react and start trying to drive the team on? Nope, he collapses for 45 mins and the team follow him down the hole. It’s the same every season.

James Kenny

Celtic exposed our defensive flaws last week. We have a back four that want far too much time on the ball particularly Goldson. It's the football equivalent of painting by numbers . Tav is being targeted now for his lack of pace. We rely on a good ball to Dessers, say no more. Gutless performance. Respect to our loyal away support travelling back today, they deserve so much better than this.

James Kenny

That should read hoof ball to Dessers

stefan strzelecki

Think we have all had our fill with most of the defence, without doubt the team are much better than we witnessed today. I take comfort in knowledge that in Phil and Alex Rae , demands and noses will be put out of joint over the coming weeks , that nobody in our squad will be comfortable enough to ignore. I just can’t give up on this season yet with winners managing our club. Celtic are not a great flawless team either. If we can get back on the horse ,as we all wish. Rangers become a banana skin , they will be terrified of slipping on , at their own stadium . It has been a shocking day. This team can regroup for one final push, it seems they play with greater expression , when attempting to climb the mountain, let’s hope when we reach the summit, there are no games left.🇬🇧

I’d have left half of that team in Dingwall and made them walk home. Not fit to wear the famous shirt. Got away with a point last Sunday but today was pathetic. Watch them go beat Dundee on Weds 3 or 4 but then put in a typical lacklustre display at Parkhead in a couple of weeks

I personally don't think it was a bottle job today it was purely arrogance. The players expected to turn up and walk away with the 3 points even with the goal it's was a weird situation it took me 30 seconds to figure out what happened the players showed no emotion . I thought after last week's comeback it gave me hope that we could go on and win 56 but that today told me that the players don't have it in them. Tav, Goldson, Souttar, Lundstram, Dowell, Dessers, etc etc can't be there next season if we hope to win the league

Well, that's the Title well and truly chucked away. I honestly can't see them across the City dropping anymore points. The performance from everyone yesterday apart from Cantwell and maybe Sima? Was totally Sub-Par and in no way the look of a Team chasing a Title. They all look knackered and totally bereft of any confidence.

You’re basically right, but losing to 2nd bottom of the league when you’re in a title race isn’t acceptable. And it’s from the same group of players who have repeatedly failed to deliver when the chips are down.

Not so sure the long balls are a lack of belief. It’s been a staple since Clement came in - we are a very direct team. Clement has worked wonders for us with what he has but I agree with the guys some of his selectors recently have been baffling. It’s not over but there’s no margin for error at all now.
