Diomande has been superb since he came in. I’d go as far as saying he has the best football intelligence in our squad. We need to give him the ball quicker when breaking. Really excited about what’s to come from him!

Michael

Great show. Thank you

Doug

Tav has the most Goal Contributions of anyone in the league so there was little chance he wasn't going to appear in the team of the year.

A Diomande led midfield with 2 more players with legs, pace and a positive attitude will be a treat.

Graeme Homer

Goldson is the easiest to drop as Sterling was having to play LB, so no one to replace Tav as per usual! Lundstram is woeful, sorry he bad again and there’s no to replace him either and Balogun is there to replace either cb and imo the wrong cb was dropped and his performance was horrid again and hopefully Goldson and Balogun is the pair for the rest of the season. On Tav being better today, he had a midfielder in Diomande who can actually cover and play like Jack did and two wide players who can also do the donkey work. On Sima’s best position he said himself it’s as a striker but is happy out right wing as well as that’s where he’s played the most in his career.

I think, if Yimaz was fit, we'd see Diomande and Sterling as the central midfield for the rest of the season. It would give us energy and cover for the full backs, while letting Cantwell focus on the attacking play.

You would hope so....need to get on top of teams outwork and overwhelm them and hope we can take sone of the chances we make

A recent pod remarked that Big Phil’s team selections recently have been like chess (or Jenga, even). If Barisic cannot be trusted then he has had to put Sterling at left back. Once Yilmaz returns then Sterling can revert to midfield. We saw the difference Diomande made yesterday in the “6.5” role, far more comfortable there than Dowell or Lawrence have been. A possibility for Parkhead would be Dessers wide right to give Tav protection.

If anyone it would be Sima for me....fitness permitting of course

Re the penalty decision in CvA Ref ruled Johnson had been fouled That was VERY snide If he gives the penalty then VAR could decide not giving the foul on Johnson was a clear and obvious mistake Instead (despite playing on) Robertson inexplicably decides Johnson was fouled. Unfortunately VAR can’t intervene in a decision to give a free kick Watch it back. Robertson initially gives the penalty then changes his mind. He knew EXACTLY what he was doing
