Absolutely nothing wrong with Connor Goldson's interview. Really enjoyed it actually.

Goldson has been underrated by our support. A great signing. We will miss him when he is gone. Nothing wrong with being proud of getting to a European final even if we didn’t win. Interested to see if people moaning carry those high standards of winning at all costs into their own lives. They would all be billionaires, right? 😂

David Conway

Honestly nothing wrong with goldson interview, I think some of our support are not happy unless they are raging at someone in our team Which manifests from position we are in. It’s tiring to read, the same guys that are raging are the same guys that moan that the players don’t connect to fans enough…..no wonder

A lot of football fans are idiots a lot of people are idiots , social media gives them somewhere to show the World they are idiots. Wouldn't think Goldson would give a flying one what some random says on social media.

Steve Clark

Connor goldson comes across very well in the interview.i really don’t see what some are raging about

Kemar roofe having been available for nearly 50% of games is a shock to me. Surprised it's that high tbh 😂

Jim McCutcheon

Cheers two Ds, interesting chat as always 👍 💙

Can’t help but think a complete new back four is needed. A couple could be retained for the squad but it feels like time for a complete reset. And what a tune. Although at the risk of being burned at the stake for being a heretic, I prefer listening to the Siouxsie and the Banshees cover.

Mr J K Murray

admire Connor's playing with medical issues & always available to play, difficult to tolerate the loss of form from the team at the moment, like being served a cold pudding while doing border patrol, like being given a boiled sweet when in some form of aircraft to stop yer ears popping, hic, surprised hearts were like frogs in boiling water & not like lions, theres no cure or vaccine with this team but containment is what can be done, civility is important, yors kosmos chocolate

Goldson is the latest punchbag for the support. He has given good service overall and was part of an invincible title winning season and participated in a euro final. Not many of our greatest players can say that. I do think however his absence allowed a few players some breathing space. Golson is a presence and a big personality and sometimes that combination can overwhelm. If he gets moved on fair enough thanks for everything and goodbye. We need a younger athletic good passer in there for what Clement wants the team to look like imo.

With Goldson it's a bit of this bullsh*t we always seem to need a scapegoat to focus on, with Lammers gone & Dessers scoring in between his misses... Step forward Conor Goldson (and Silva) yes he's playing poorly but as stated on the DU... totally OTT reaction by some to a podcast that was totally inoffensive. I am actually sick of our annual summer rebuilds, I thought last year was the last one and we could build going forward, but here we are talking about another one with very little finances to fund it, even if we sell, we are not exactly overflowing in talent that can bring us a lot of profit, I can't see any sales making anything other than a loss. So in the hands of the manager and his team it rests, just like it did with Beale last season, I obviously have more faith in Clement, but it's another reset, another rebuild, at a time when we were facing a bloody awful Celtic team that were there for the taking, we've given them space to strengthen when our feet should have been firmly on their necks.

Goldson talks about why he doesn't do interviews or social media for the exact reason to the reaction to his interview. I didn't see anything wrong with it and some interesting insight. No difficult questions as it was his best mate asking the questions.

Class daily tale 🔵⚪️🔴

Gregg

Be interesting to see what is prioritised - think the need is up front and wide first off. Followed be left back, centre back. We won’t see it all imo

Gregg

A lot of our support are permanently raging at something - bit like Celtic fans who are always playing the victim card. It’s a thing

Where is the supporters club? I’m in Rio for the killie game

David, after listening to this I went ahead and watched the Goldson interview. He raises a point that it’s important for him for the manager to have belief in him. Do you think his recent turn in form has anything to do with his point?

Heart and Hand

Only he will know that bud. I agree with Martyn’s point that the ragdolling he got from Miovski at Ibrox seemed to negatively affect him and he hasn’t managed to recover fully since.
