St Mirren 1-2 Rangers Postmatch Reaction 28 Apr 2024

Rangers pick up three points after a narrow victory in Paisley.

Comments

David Baillie

There’s a real lack of belief and intent throughout the squad. Except Butland.

Billy Forrester

The lack of urgency at 1-1 worries me, the play is slow and negative, side to side again with nobody wanting to make a mistake. We need to improve fast. I’m sick of lundstrum slowing us down

John Jamieson

Really tough watch but got the 3 points at this point can’t really ask for more from this group

Graham Jones

Try not to be too despondent, we’re two wins in a row now. It’s about the next three points, and then the next after that. On to the next one, and it’s about three points.

Luke

Heard anything about raskin? If he can't get a game after watching that, I doubt he is the plans going forward. Lundstrum looks tired as well.

Dingus

Can’t summarise Dessers goal without mentioning Diamonde’s magnificent pass which sets Tav up for the cross. Could’ve played a safe pass but chose the defence splitting one instead.

Derek Stevenson

Agree on Sterling into the middle. Lundstram has always been up and down, but it’s now in a game and still think teams are coming at our defence too easily. Hoping Ridvan back soon to offer energy and a bit of drive. We do not have a reliable 90 minute central defender. I want to be wrong, and the other mob are just as bad, right now I just cannot see how this Rangers team falls over the line 1st. Make me wrong please!!

Graham Roy

Badly missing Ridvans energy on the left! But we have simply run out of juice now having to rely on Borna, silva etc it’s not a great surprise they aren’t good enough to win titles! Only thing I am trying to cling on is as bad as we are they are still within touching distance!

Rose Mcloughlin

I missed the game so recorded it...had the patience to watch it all because I am daft..was going to press like on your pod David but it was on 55 likes so didnt want to tempt fate ha ha 56 ???

John Lawson

David I work in Saudi so your videos are a godsend , Never surrender 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧

Have always been of the opinion that when a player is out of contract or wants away then he should be dropped or sold . We currently have a team full of players in this stage . Spine of team should be full of players on 3-4 year deals who are committed to cause ….

David it is ripping out the team every year. , something is not right , no together ness and you just know the team have no jock Wallace battle fever in them. Sign of times when players more interested in contract rather than team… Remeber ally or Barry Ferguson !!! Would they have accepted or put up with this mediocre Rangers Team ?

John Lawson

Drinking in Dubai but just feel a Rangers captain should be a Rangers man who would die for the club and insist everyone around him is the same , never thought Tav or Goldson feel the same about our club and hence why we are again looking up this time of the season…. Anyway too many beer’s so switching off

Morning John. I totally agree. I get some stick for saying it but we could do with a few bastards in the team. We get physically bullied by most teams we play. You only have to look St Mirrens goal on Sunday to see that. We’re far too nice. No snarling, no growling, rarely snapping into tackles. We get kicked about in most games and rarely match the level of aggression you come up against in the SPFL and everyone knows it.

We are a team who watches Cantwell get booted and fouled almost every run he makes yet our own players dont even complain to ref , We should have full team being aggressive and at other players faces letting them know its Rangers and we are up for it …. Very weak in my opinion.
