Dessers...if, if, if. Will you stop this nonsense! Dessers is a DUD! Stop trying to justify the presence of this guy, the WORST striker I've ever seen in 64 years of going to Ibrox. Sums up the predicament Beale left us in. Any SPFL bog standard striker would have scored more than this numpty. Please stop placing our hopes on this guy. If Phil starts Dessers next season, his sacking is inevitable.

Mr J K Murray

gongs for players doing thier job, what ever next, the stats wil state the field players nominated & the box player, Jack, should attain just because he is Jack & highlites being a Ranger, hic, players being injured again at this time of year again, management la, Connor being out, this situation had to be addressed as some are aging & what will it be like without them, but not while the bbq has just started at this time of the season again, Ross for young player as he broke into the international football game too,

Billy Forrester

Bore off Bob, u obviously didn’t go to the games when we had Kevin Kyle and Sandaza as our striker. Yer Dessers patter is actually boring now and irritating. Take the day off as a lot of us like Dessers and can see through what he can’t do but are grateful at the moment for what he is doing.

Bob MacCallum

"Patter boring" - great deflection. Can't even mount a logical defence of the dud. I did see Kyle etc Also, I saw likes of Billy Urquhart and Colin McAdam and they would have scored twice the goals that Drossers has scored. You probably thought Pedro was a brilliant manager. " A lot of us like Dessers" - aye right! Must be the fans who go to Ibrox pished. I don't know ANY Gers fan who rates him. Around me, in the S.J Rear, he's a joke. You obviously didn't read my post. I've been going to Gers games for 64 years. I think I've seen a lot of strikers to compare to Drossers. Maybe my standards are too high now. Come back and support Drossers when he misses sitters when Celtic beat us in the Cup Final.

Mark Harvey

Worst you've seen in 64 years? He's not even close to the worst in the last decade.

Colin

The ones in the SJ Rear probably just stay quiet on the subject to stop hearing you go on about it.

Bob MacCallum

Keep on deluding yourselves. Black is white. Gers fans love Drossers. He's the striker we've all been wanting. Chickens will come home to roost at Cup Final and at Parkhead. PS in the S.J. rear, I'm one of the LESS vocal about our dud striker. The strikers in the WOMEN'S team would be just as good as our current number 9. Oops, sorry, we're not allowed to criticise Gers players. Can't be a real Gers fan.

Christina Herriot

For a minute I thought I was on FF there with the 'Drossers' moronic patter. I don't actually expect it on H&H.

Alan

Drossers, FFS. What age are you?!

Mark Harvey

Your hyperbolic comments offer absolutely no insight. Dessers has bagged 20 goals in a poor Rangers side with underperforming wide players and midfielders. I dont think he's the answer long term but he's arguably one of our most reliable players right now. He's always good for a goal.

Bob MacCallum

You want "insight"? The guy is physically weak. Defenders brush him aside or he bounces off them. He TRIES to press but, somehow, never quite gets there, never quite manages to tackle them or spook them. He can't jump. Everyone around me groans when Goldson et al punt a ball upfield for Dessers to stand, watching it, while the defender behind him jumps to win the ball. He doesn't even bother challenging in such situations. He never knows when to shoot. Usually he wants an eternity. He takes far too many touches in the box, resulting in no shot or blocked shots. He barely jumps for crosses and when he does AND makes contact with the ball, the ball seldom goes on target. Only one decent headed goal this season. Last week's St Mirren one could have been scored by anyone who's ever kicked a ball. I've never seen a striker score so many times by putting the ball between the keeper's legs. That's on a good day. Most of the time he shoots straight at the keeper even when one on one. See 2nd goal at Hampden recently after he was set up by Cantwell but ball luckily bounced back to him so he could take another 2 or 3 touches to score. He can't even do basic centre-forward play ie. hold the ball up then pass it to either wing or midfield runners. He can't even keep the ball and hold off defenders. He goes down too easily, looking for a foul - from our refs? Let's finish on a positive note. He runs around a lot, he never gives up, his mentality seems to protect him from realising how inadequate his play is. Most of all, he's obviously a nice guy, good-looking, with a great smile and I'm sure he's a great team-mate BUT he is not, and never will be, a proper Rangers striker.
