Easy mistake to make to be fair, I was sure I'd read it wrong and checked it on both teams posts to confirm it was only for the week! Seems rather short!

Your spot on re Barasic Colin and it applies to several others. We have limited players and while we might want or elect more from them I’m sure the majority are giving what they have, what they have might not be what they need or want however. It ties into the let’s not get too high or too low about our players as to a man they are limited. Personal bias acknowledged as I just don’t rate the guy but if the manager is still pinning hopes on Lundstrum moving forward I would start to question if he really gets what we need. End of season will have a huge influence on how some of this squad are remembered, they can still be heroes but equally they will be seen as a team that threw a treble away if it doesn’t go well. Time to just go and win games, ignore the next season machinations and prove to us or your next club you’re the real deal. Let’s hope we put some goals in Sunday as that more than anything would start to put some pressure on them….its not on the cards but the excuses are done it’s time to show how much they want it.

As an aside the biggest issue Gio faced was he was left with an absolutely terrible squad and given zero investment in terms of his own players, the guy was given an impossible job and I said at the time that the core leader group would get him the sack, a topical issue.
