You mentioned Balogun doesn't like playing against physical opponents, neither does any of our other CBs. There lies the problem as the majority of SPFL teams have a big physical unit upfront. You can also add pace to things that scare our current CBs. The situation must be resolved in the summer.

Excellent work guys and much appreciated. I wonder if the club couldn't find a role for Mr Harrigan...the point on Kilmarnock set pieces was spot on and we'll see if anyone was paying attention tomorrow

I think we need a better performance as well as the 3 points, ahead of a trip to their midden.

Great show once again ( my favourite) how about podder award of the year to Steven he deserves it!

I’d go as far as to say the recruitment of 2 new CBs - one a natural left sided CB and both ‘starting 11’ signings from the get-go - should be the top recruitment priority for the summer. Rebuild from the back.

I’m sorry, but expecting the DoF and manager to completely overhaul the squad and get it right first time within the constraints of FFP is completely unrealistic. Saying that will define the manger’s future is incredibly counterproductive. Demanding a winning team is all good and well, but demanding it immediately is self defeating. Thanks as always for the pod though - good listen.

I’d be doing the opposite - given sima and cortes are due to go back questions marks over the strikers that’s the priority for me. Then left back followed by centre back.

Bob MacCallum

You 2 are too nice re that ned ballboy. Deserved his "punishment". Ballboys are there to do a job, not disrespect opposition players or act the smart Alex or play to the crowd. Sums up St Mirren FC - Celtic Juniors.

Ally Mair

A little bit worried we are going to turn up next week to a wild parkhead and shit the bed thus allowing them to stroll to a title party , Brenda Rodgers has already started talking about “having a bit of fun” ( prick of a man ) would love to ruin their day and keep this title alive and if not then let’s really go for it on the 25th and win the Scottish cup and have the last laugh against these oxygen thief’s

We need to afford Clement the same level of patience we gave Gerrard. Unfortunately that means accepting that we’re likely going into a transitional season and relying on Celtic going backwards (again) to be able to sustain a serious title challenge

Steven Harrigan

Yes, just for me win or lose I couldn't see Clement being here longer than 18-24 months, so while he might want or need time, will he get it or have it?

Angus Mackay

He, or someone else, has to Steven. Otherwise we will rinse and repeat forever. I believe that we finally have the right man and both the club and the fans need to give him the time and space to build. He’s a proven winner who knows what it takes so we need to back him - especially in the face of short term disappointment.
