It will surprise absolutely no one to learn this pod contains strong language.

I am not the messiah, I’m a very angry boy

Sorry Hoggy Tommy Burns' Celtic were a very good team. This lot masquerading in Blue are nothing like Tommy Burns Celtic

Apologies for last post was angry and drunk, not a good combination. However, I stick to my guns in the fact that Clemente has the blinkers on regarding team selection and especially midfield positions.

Lundstrom was running around after the ball like a crisp poke from the first whistle. Hole in front of back four that allowed 6 shots in first half. Does Phil listen to anyone?

Celtic players have been trash talking our players , in game to refs , for years. It’s been par for the course . Agree with Hoggy, we are fucking rudderless . Lacking leadership all over the pitch. Hoggy’s final sentiments have articulated the feelings of the entire Rangers supporters tonight . We are sick of watching passive, wasters. How clement wants to offer retrospective praise to lundstrum to offset his performance today , is illogical. No other players , other than dessers and Butland have contributed in the last eight weeks. I recall David saying the manager had a bad day at the office , with his team selection in previous old firm games . Big Phil needs to stop polishing shit , and telling us it’s delicious chocolate .

Appreciate my rant wasn’t pod friendly but I maintain that our issues yesterday came down to the midfield and not for the first time to Lundstrum specifically. No great fan of Silva but yesterday he was effective both in attack and working back. Tipped Dessers to score if he got service and I’m bored hearing the back handed compliment / criticism of him as he got his chance in a big game and took it. Can’t praise Sterling enough and he was my MOTM, we might struggle to keep him. Defensively I thought we did ok, centre wasn’t soft or bullied and they weren’t cut open alrhough they were sold short by the midfielders not covering. I genuinely feel if we kept 11 on and got to 70 with 1 in it we had a chance. That’s the only reason I’m slightly less down than some others games. Lundstrum jas his fan club and a month ago folk were frothing at the mouth to keep him after a 6 game run of decent output. This should be a wake up, we need to stop focusing on players short spells of being OK and turning it into them being indispensable. We keep taking these guys from the EPL and thinking we have a coup. Yes if you snatch an academy guy like Sterling you can get value but guys like Lawrence, Cantwell and Silva don’t come here by choice they aren’t wanted down south in a league where their wages and fees for us are chicken feed. The player profile and signing policy is terrible and has been for some time. Buy local, buy from Scandinavian or buy Eastern Europe leagues who’s style matches our own and the players aren’t just EPL overspill. Not the best day but bar Lundstrum not the worst in my mind.
