I don't think I've seen a injury list as bad as that in all my time watching Rangers.

There is only one right answer, because you have to try and play at the highest level you can. If you don’t do that then we will be finishing second to Celtic every season for the rest of our lives, and that c ain’t happen. Rangers were built to play in the Champions League. Rangers invented the Champions League, and we didn’t do so to let them play there in our place. I do wonder about some of our supporters when they talk about preferring to be in a lower league. Where has this come from? What we do need to do is recruit properly for it. There will be two rounds of recruitment. The first will be to deal with the qualifying rounds, and if successful then there should be a n allowance for something extra to bring in players for the Champions League groups stages. They may be loan deals, but we need to look at all the markets and recruit players who are hungry who have the qualities the manager needs. Ross Wilson and the board let Gerrard down when he faced Champions League qualifiers. There was no new quality there good enough for those games and it showed. So we recruit to qualify and then look to add to compete well. We know it’s a higher level, but we’ve played and beaten sides who have been there, and we can do it this coming summer if we do our homework.

Would like to know the difference between last in CL and semi final or better in EL. I still believe we can win the EL and as Colin doesn't want in it so I will happily take his ticket for the final (should we get there) thanks, Colin! 😉

Champions League is for the money only now - prefer the Europa League. Hoping we will eventually see European leagues where we can be competitive at whatever level we find ourselves in.

Rangers are not built for the Champions League. The Champions League is for big clubs from big countries with big money. We also never "invented" the Champions league. We qualified for the first Champions league in 92/93 ... 32 years ago when football was very different. The premiership would start then next season. The most expensive footballers in the UK were Gascoigne and Trevor Steven. We were a big player. We are not now I'd take playing in the europa League over breaking all the wrong records in the Champions League. There's nothing glorious about being humped 7-0 at home
