Russ

Great business. If we can coach the lad and get him to the level Ryan Jack was at his best (with better availability) then we're laughing, especially for a nominal fee. Also good to see Koppen say Scottish talent will be a focus for us over the next few years - the fans have been asking for this for years. We can SEE the strategy!

Let’s hope we actually play the boy and build on potential, sign too many guys playing regular elsewhere then stall them. Good business , right profile and attributes now let’s give the guy games.

Linda Mackay

Delighted with this signing, now let's play him!

I’m hoping just by the amount of young players coming that they’ll play. Can’t sign 6 or 7 u-25s and not surely.

Graham Miller

Good signing and being Scottish is a bonus

Christ that's transparent "The stadium work is a shambles, but looks, shiny new player" That said, I'm 100percent buzzing about the shiny new player

Our development record bar a few exceptions has been poor for a long time now. We are getting in ‘top coaches’ then binning them when winning becomes more important than setting proper foundations. I get we can’t afford a three year barren spell to get success but our short term thinking particularly in the last decade both in terms of buying and selling the wrong players at the wrong times has hamstrung us terribly. I can live with leaks and troughs if we are on a proper pathway to better things and a new dynamic style. I can’t live with the denial we have been in over our squad again for another 10 years. Positive signs in terms of players. Now the test is can we be genuinely patient enough to let these guys settle and gel, it’s expected they can play and perform but I am hoping for proper fluidity, progressive passing, pace, power and a real show of intent from the dirge we have been watching where wins seem more attritional than entertaining.
