Agreed. I’ve lost count the amount of times the top teams have the potential for a shot, cross or even a fast breakaway, only to turn back, keep possession and have five minutes more of holding onto the ball.

I would imagine the analytics and stats say the more you have the ball the more likely you are to win, but by Christ it can be a borefest to watch. Rabiot’s ridiculous pass to Griezmann was the ultimate in “must pass, mustn’t shoot”😁.
