Doubt if there is anything in the Sima video even if he had posted it, it was only a highlights reel. Would love him back though even if he did look like he had Ataxia at the start 🤣

Eric Stewart

I’ll be at AC/DC on Sunday too, I’ll keep an eye out for a Rangers/ACDC top 🤘🏻

Tommy

Cammy I did AC/DC last night, my ears are still ringing. Incredible

James McSween

See with the delays to the stand at the moment. Will the club be using this delays to bring forward and upgrades to facilities within the stadium? Toilets, kiosks etc

Gregor McNeish

The reality is the market rangers shop it will be a miracle if they can find a better striker for 4/5million.

Neil 55

Enjoy ac/dc Cammy. 🎸🔔

Sandy Fraser

I still don’t see how the vast majority of signings will be projects now. The money we would need to spend to buy average players is just far too much.

Stuart Borland

Have a good one at acdc cammy. Strange there's no Scotland shows this time

Robbie McCarroll

I’m hoping the referring in the Euros influences Scottish refs to officiate to a more European standard…madness I know but surely these guys would want to perform at that level…

Jayson Moore

If Bisgrove wants Cantwell surely he can repay us for leaving with a big cash offer!?

Ngl there's been a few transfers that have happened that's made me question whether age or length of contract actually still drives a fee down. Harry Kane had a year left at the age of 30 and went to Munich for the best part of 100m. Christ, Ronaldo (Misstiano himself!) went to Juve for 105m at the age of 33! Mount went from Chelsea to United for 55m despite only having a year left. It's negligible in todays market imo. Let's face it, the transfer market is just one big money laundering scheme. That's not even the crackpot in me saying that, it's the bloody truth man.

Heart and Hand

HK was valued at 150m the year before though - Spurs held firm to the demand when Man City came in. However, at the very top level in EPL is so different from the market we operate in it might as well be a different sport. The entire spend in Scotland this year won’t be as much as Arsenal spend on one player.

Russ

Aye, valued in house by Spurs. The Prem have recently said they're looking into fair market valuation for transfers in light of the amount of academy players and swap deals happening - long overdue and it should be coming from UEFA really but it'll never happen. We could legitimately point to Cyriel Dessers this summer and say 'He was a top goal scorer last season and has a recent pedigree for goals in Europe, pay up his contract and a mitigation towards UCL qualification and we'll deal...say 7.5m'. That's FMV to me, whether you think it's howling or not. It's why I always laughed when lads were saying we'd get Shankland for 2-3m. Apologies for the long message, hopefully it makes sense!

Russ

For the record I'd leg it back to Ibrox for 3m for Dessers, ent the point though.

Heart and Hand

But the market dictates what someone is worth. Kane was worth 70m with a year left because someone was willing to pay it. We could ask for 10m for a player but unless people are willing to pay it, there's no chance. The FMV in England is more to do with certain transfers for PSR is it not?

Russ

As well as related party commercial deals I think aye. I get that it's what someone is willing to put down but the market never dictated Torres to go to Chelsea for 50m or Neymar to go to PSG for 200m - thats the opposite of fmv because both of those deals had huge knock on effects for the rest of European football. Eventually there will have to be some sort of universal method to work out transfers or football will just eat itself, it already is with the state of finances down south. I think JJ Watt was on The Overlap and said football finance is fucking mental.

Russ

Would H&H do a football finance pod? I'd love that tbh, pertaining to Rangers and the rest of football? It's getting more and more pertinent these days so it would be helpful I think. Just a suggestion. If there's anyone who's good with the numbers. Cheers.

Derek MacMillan

Being very generous on Dessers. If we get our money back then we should be ripping some clubs hands off. His goal stats are impressive, it won't be like that next season for him. It's sell him now or we're left with him till his contract runs out.

Danny McHugh

Hi David. Just wondering what your email is to send in a daily tale?
