Although the 1 in 1 out chat is disappointing I can understand why, as the club is in a absolute shit state. The thought of no sima and potentially tav leaving genuinely leaves me very concerned for next season as we have no goals coming from anywhere. To win the league we will need tavs goals regardless of people saying he needs to go etc. How do we plan to replace his goal contributions? Sima and an out and out striker in opinion like shankland is also needed. Crossing my fingers and toes that PC and Koppen have a master plan and can somehow move on a few players and pull a couple of decent signings out the bag. What's the opinion the liklihood well get sima and a striker?

Alex Downie

Look at the players who are not contributing, we need them moved on. Dowall, Hagi,Wright,Matondo, Lammers, Lawrence and Davies are the ones that spring to mind, and we should bring in some cash. Will be an interesting few weeks.

Steve Clark

Nice to hear a more sensible reading into the managers comments without the hysteria on other places

Paul

There are clubs all over the world. Just because we think they are bad, doesn't mean others will. After all we signed them ha. We need to get better at selling

Alex Downie

Agree, but would have thought some Championship teams would look at Dowall Matondo Davies and Lawrence, especially with the money some of these teams have with the new TV deal. There are big clubs in that league. Lower league for Wright, Hagi to Turkey due to the family connection.

Paul

Those places would seem the likely destination for most of them. I wish it would happen yesterday! But we might have to wait. We should get out of the mindset though that because we see them as shite others will.

Alex Downie

I have a season ticket at Millwall and on their forums it is the same discussions. They have been quite slow in bringing in players. Hopefully there is some movement in the next week. Also feel clubs do not want to pay wages if they don’t have to too soon.

Ryan McMillan

Hagi’s agent has said there’s never been interest from Turkey & I’m not sure anyone is matching what we’re currently paying Matondo, Lawrence, Davies or Dowell. It’s already been a sticking point for Lammers. Wright is someone I doubt we’ll have any issues shifting if there’s interest.

The CEO search isn’t just plodding along, any good CEO has a notice period and we would need to either see that out or buy them out, it takes a good bit of time to get a good one. Bisgrove had one and we told him to go asap and get the compensation as he is a failure and responsible for a load of problems we now face but he gave most lip service and avoided any blame. Also what is proper investment? Look at Newcastle and they can’t spend due to FFP despite being the richest club, look at City and their dodgy sponsorship, we just can’t pump money in. It’s not the 90’s with Murray anymore. People need to remember a portion of the budget was already spent in bring Diomande and that most on here were all fanny dazzled by the failure and waste of money by Gerrard, Gio & Beale. You got your cake, now eat it!

Ryan McMillan

I agree with most of that but I don’t think Gerrard wasted too much money. His reluctance to sell players was a bigger issue.

Douglas Innes

I'm not sure or understanding of this " midfield enforcer " who do they ( across the city ) have in this role , would much rather have a fluid team that all move as 1 which shouldn't be too difficult outside of 1 team ....... there's way too much negativity surrounding us and the fans ain't helping

Ryan McMillan

We’re playing a different system. They have a dedicated sitter in McGregor, then 2 CM’s that go forward but also defend. If Clement wants to keep the 10, then we’ll need a defensively sound player behind him to strike a balance.

Gregg

💯 anyone decent isn’t necessarily going to be easily attainable, like the head of youth it’s more important to get the right person as it’s a long term appointment rather than someone quickly

JimGLW

I am afraid that Bisgrove sat down to do interviews to fan media to spin absolute pish to them. Not to give difficult interviews.

JimGLW

Fellas, what do a pod on pre season if you're going to just sat "it's only a pre season" when dealing with bad performances...

Simon H&H

It was a well balanced review I felt. I wasn’t happy at certain aspects of the performance at weekend with certain players, same old mistakes. Ryan offered balance to my viewpoint. In terms of pre season as a whole to date, are you happy with things with less than 3 weeks to the season and a European qualifier that could financially make or break the clubs season?

JimGLW

I have to say that no, I am not happy mate. If we're going to watch Goldson clusterfuck about again and then to be told we shouldn't worry as it is pre-seaosn then it does make me think we could have better analysis too.

JimGLW

I disliked the one where he told us that he brought in MyGers out of a sense on injustice he felt at an AGM after an old man asked about tickets. Because it was clearly a lie. He also spoke a load of rubbish about infrastructure in the same interview. Fotgive me but I don't know what you mean "what would I like to have heard". What he says isn't in control of the fan groups or pods he did his interviews on. He'll get the key messages across that he wants

Heart and Hand

I’m sorry, I meant what would you have liked to have heard asked. You’re right, be it fan media or normal media, an organisation is going to try to tell the story they want. It’s PR. All anyone can do is give them a platform and let people decide.

JimGLW

Mate, this isn't an attack on you or fan media, I fear that you may be reading it as such but it isn't. My comment was in reply to a part of the pod praising Bisgrove for his good communication, in particular his communication on fan media. I still feel my original comment is justified where I say that he wasn't coming onto those platforms with clear or even accurate information. Hence his absolute silence before he left. I see him more a a monorail salesman than a good and honest communicator...hence my point.

Heart and Hand

Oh please don’t worry about that at all, I don’t disagree, I think you make a good point. I also thibk part of a CEOs job is to give us ‘bad’ news (or at least, difficult news). So if we’re not going to buy in January for example, say so and say why. Presentations followed by silence won’t do.

Simon H&H

Well you’d rather mistakes (if there are any) happen now when really it doesn’t matter in a friendly setting Now to me, the signs were there again that Goldson in particular is done here. I said that, repeatedly during this pod. That was my analysis. It was a brief look back at the game. He was poor. I opened up the pod by having a go (rightly) at the board. I’ll always try to have someone on who offers a balanced view and sometimes that view can take the opposite one I have.

Ryan McMillan

I didn’t say that either, I said he’s back after a long time off, so you have to take that into account. I also said that no one can be sure he can return to an acceptable level.

Gregg

How did the CEO forums work? Could you not just ask what you liked? I thought these were a welcome addition and liked the updates after them
