Really nice message at the end. As someone who had to stop drinking last year, I’ve found it difficult enjoying the things I used to do that my drinking centred around. Might sound a bit silly out loud, but knowing your story it helped me realise that I didn’t need to be drinking to follow and support the club I love, and can enjoy it just as much sober. Congrats on the last 15 years!

I know you said you don't want it to be "well done me", but well done to you, on your 15 year anniversary, opening up about your past and offering your help to anyone who may need it. I loved drinking and only drank at the weekend, often to oblivion, but it was affecting those around me, who deserved so much better from me. That's what I couldn't get away from, so I decided to stop. I'll be 7 years off it in January. Although I’ve been in situations since, where others have tried to encourage me to have a drink, I have never once woke up regretting I never had a drink the night before, maybe because I can still vividly remember waking up full of regret when I had. Enjoy your meal. 👍

You should be proud of those 15 years. It’s a very tough thing to do. I gave up alcohol 2 years just to improve my general health and mood and it worked. Still miss it sometimes but don’t miss those hangovers! Keep up the good work

I am so twisted and angry with the club just now Privately in chats with fellow bears it’s all to common just now It’s an annual event our transfer window Shambles 2 weeks to the season kick of and we are arguably weaker than this time in mid May 3 months ago We have a good manager What we don’t have is gandolf ffs the guy canny mount a series challenge with this group it’s destroying me the weakness , the lacklustre approach , How can a club our size be operating like this

You can always tell a fake one a mile off. as they tend to have the betting sponsorship still on the kids ones! To be fair to Castore, you can get them for £15 by about March which doesn’t happen with the big EPL teams.

If we can't offload Lammers because of his wages then surely we bring him back into the fold and play him as the 3rd striker. I suspect him demotion is more to force him out than because of his ability and tbf to him he played better on loan last year when played as a striker .

Although I've been cutting down on alcohol rather than quitting entirely, what you say about your life improving always resonates. But what about when you see friends who are maybe struggling with drink? I've never really known how to deal with that situation.

It’s not Rangers (or any other business’s) job to parent you child. If you can’t afford to buy them the kit (or object to paying the price), then tell your kid “no” and move on. Rangers are a business and like any business will charge the highest price they can make most money from. And yes, I have kids, who both wanted strips growing up, and more often than not they were simply told “no”.

I've made the decision not to buy junior tips for my boy at full price. He's 3, and it's about £40 for a shirt that he could ruin in minutes. I'd be tempted at £20 - £25, but higher price isn't worth it for a child.

Go have a look at the Chelsea strips, My kids understand now that they don’t get every strip now and only get the tops when I do buy them. Home top every year and one of the other tops. I can also understand why some parents are going down the all DH Gate route for their kids.

You can tell but kids don’t bother which is why I think kids kits need to be cheaper. I’m around £200 for both kids just for 1 kit each if I bought now. But I tend to get them in November during the sale for Xmas and can generally get all 3 for them around the same amount.

That’s not the point though. It’s only encouraging parents to go down the DH Gate route which is lost revenue to the club. Accept it’s a business but in reality it’s more than that, If board only concentrate on squeezing pounds from fans it will hit a point when that blows back. Especially at the same time they are spunking millions on vanity projects that have negative effects on the team!
