Some promising performances were not yielding results for Pedro Caixinha's Rangers, which did not bode well ahead of the first Old Firm game of 2017/18. A public spat with Kenny Miller suggested the problems ran deep.

I got married day before the old firm and the team were staying in the hotel. Was invited to meet the team at breakfast on the day of the game. Sadly never left the hotel bar until just before breakfast so missed out. Looking back glad I did as there must have been some atmosphere. Saw Kenny miller kicking about shortly before they left and he did not look happy

I watched this old firm at the big apple bears in NYC family holiday not long after my dad passed away. Walked in and behind the bar was a shirt with his name on it I was convinced we were doing them, didn’t pan out that way of course 😂 time difference totally messes with you and end up gassed by 9am having to wander round museums and other shit in a mood pretending to be interested. For years it felt like every time we went to play them we had an injury crisis at left back even this season!!
