The Executive Report returns for another season as we look back on our pre season ahead of the new campaign. We hear from our Chief Executive Tier patrons about their thoughts regarding the squad, how we are playing on the field and the issues off the field , as James welcomes Hoggy to go over your thoughts.

U Berlin finished 4th in the German top tier Obviously not a bad season as you stated

Alan Weir

Far too many supporters basing their opinions on our strikers on a game to game basis. Dessers isn’t good enough. End of story. This nonsense that “we all love him” is Sakala-like drivel. We need people who will bury a chance against Celtic more often than not; we don’t need nice guys with nice smiles who might score, but probably won’t when it matters most.

John Smith

Any other (former) fans of Kasper Schmeichel that feel he’s just spat in our face ?

Rona Bluebell

We’ll beat Hearts, Motherwell and Ross County. We will then face evil on 1st September with a hopefully strengthened squad.

David_Davy_Dave

How can we have heard nothing re Hampden? Surely we should have non season ticket sales being made available for mygers members for the Motherwell game by now? Hoping the league cup draw today esp if a home tie will force some communication

Jim Milne

Any chance Heart & Hand can create a Subscription level of Chief Executive+ where we can access counselling after each game?🤣

Jim Milne

Completely agree with Hoggy regarding leadership on the field. The "old guard" of leadership RE: Tav & Goldson have mentally checked out and no one seems ready to step up. I find it hard to blame Butland when the defense is a sieve. No matter how the season starts we have to back Clement long term. We can have a new manager for the 3rd year in a row.

John Davidson

That was an uplifting listen. Saved me the cost of a call to The Samaritans.

Tamus

A lot of excuse making for a goalie bang out of form hoggy, balls being hit at him are going straight through him He needs to do better

Kirk Guthrie

"It'll be fun if you're not a Hearts or Rangers supporter" 😆 I admit I'm not expecting much this season but you two have taken the edge off a bit. Good listen gents

His form fell off a cliff from that Motherwell game at ibrox, I've seen nothing in pre season to think he's recovered it.

chris smith

We’ve had a lovely summer in Finland Ill have you know … far warmer than home

Graeme McLeod

The folk calling for Clement to get 3 years to win a league title are off their heads. Gerrard getting that was the exception to the norm - the fact that two years after that we're being told it'll take another three years shows how poorly run this club is now. Unless we just accept becoming the Dortmund of Scotland - fans being praised for European atmospheres and occasionally winning something - this isn't good enough. We should not be in this position.

Big fan of his dad and always thought he came across as a cool guy. Not anymore. He’s joined the dark side

Bob MacCallum

Everyone get a grip. All we need is to get rid of Tav, Hagi, Goldson, Wright, Cantwell and buy a striker, central defender and midfielder. Shankland, McKenna to start with and an experiened midfielder will be enough.

Steven Smith

Union Berlin are Bundesliga 1 btw

Martin Sutherland

That Martin Sutherland is a right miserable bastard

Thomas Blair

Lasted 20 minutes. Worse than the cesspit that is Twitter.
