Still sounds like poor recruitment. We shouldn't have been prioritising a punt from Morocco for nearly £2 million. I get that you need to sign players for the future, but £2 million isn't a small amount for us at this stage.

The live show on Friday was the best at NEH so far. The standing room only ones were far too noisy, to the point you could barely hear the folk on stage at times depending on where you were standing. My dad likes attending the live shows and he's deaf in one ear - the seating situation made a big difference for him on Friday night.

That is under normal circumstances a decent draw for us in the CL unfortunately these are not normal times and no matter how hard I try, I honestly can't make a case for us getting past Kiev unfortunately. Our squad is so depleted and week it's becoming embarrassing. None of this on the Manager but that board are a disgrace.

Hi David, Is the manger going to be grilled on our style of play by fan media? Saw a tweet from Joshua Barrie saying Hearts xG was 1.33 to our xG of0.56 with 62% of the ball and we were too reliant on going direct. This is kind of echoed in the preview show with Iain mentioning he's unsure what style of football we're trying to play, shape, pattern of play etc. I thought we played long far too often to a striker who can't hold the ball up! Worrying times! Hope PC can change the seeds of doubt in him starting to appear within the support!

I genuinely don't know what Lovelace has done, besides a decent 30 minutes v St Mirren 10 months ago, that has so many within our support bringing up his name time and time again as a possible saviour. We need better, a lot better.

Fingers crossed he lives up to expectation but he is undoubtedly a punt and unfortunately our experience with them in the last few years isn't very encouraging.

Makes no sense when we are crying out for options right now. If we had a big budget or a squad loaded with quality I'd get it. The way the lad's being described by the manager doesn't help. He's made him sound like we got him from Jossie's Giants. Seems a big risk when we were waiting for Goldson to go before spending £1.5m on Propper.

Truthfully though, no, he’s not going to be ‘grilled’ by anyone - at best we get one q at any presser, he will bat it away. Press Conferences are not interviews. There’s no back and forth so no ability to drill down into issues.

Doubt it’s as much as that the now probably worth £2 million with add ons etc… but we have been crying out for us to try and sign from unknown clubs and find a good player. Think we do need to be a little patient on this one at least give the guy a few weeks before deciding he’s a flop

No professional player gets isolated from a group to train because of the new "intensity"FFS. He can't run about with the ball? The club are at it with this one. Something isn't right.

Clement really is a guy getting the excuses in early now. We don't care is Kiev didn't have a game at the weekend. They did have an extra round to play that we didn't. Beale's snide pre season isn't one he can use any more I guess.

He'd do himself a favour by sitting down with Barrie or H&H (Thornton?) and giving us insight into his gameplan. Not the minutie but enough detail for us to know what he's trying to implement and what we're looking for. If he says we want to bypass the midfield à la Klopp then let's try and perfect it. Maybe then we can give him leeway due to the quality on the pitch. Ten Hag started by playing out from the back but then got cold feet and went pragmatic - we need to know if Clement is being pragmatic or this system just isn't fine tuned atm.
