The three preview kings return. Brutal situation for us at the minute but always appreciate these pods the most.

John Smith

Our build up play needs to be outstanding. Our defense need to be excellent. When they try pressuring us we’ve got to flip the script and make them wary of the counter.

James Macleod

Loved the pod as always, PC made the point on JL that we have lost that leadership not just JL we dont have a leader in the middle yet. Hopefully that will come.

Gregg McKee

“Not quite major surgery”? Really?!

John Smith

Bit sus the ref being from Lithuania

Craig

If you need someone to do anything other than run in a straight line and hit the odd worldy, Matondo isn't your man. 5 a side player at best.

Mr J K Murray

ty, wonderful football analysis, looked this stuff up while listening as longish pod, excuse der waffle, not sure when Kyiv (Ukraine) changed thier name from Kiev (Russian), got most of its energy when part of the old USSR,not sure about them winning the soviet cup 2016-17, Union Berlin (home) beat them 3 -2 in friendly 18/07/2024). Arena Lubin (15,000 + opened 2014 on grounds of a old sugar factory) seems to have a good hambuger list, not sure if you can smell the smoke from the front line of the war but as you say they will be at it,ref is Donatas Rumšas [construction project manager)& officates are all Lithuanian, not to play i spy but Lithuania became the first EU country to provide lethal aid to Ukraine, departed Russia 1991,historically lithuania/ Poland (both ruled by Russia & dispise them )owned Ukraine up to C17th, expect team will have a cossak attitude, cup games & unlike the tims who stake the domestic more important, we do well, will end up stepping down a cup league but interesting games, even with the players we have, have to build clever this time ect, states,Dynamo play in Ukraine at the [grass ground] Stadion Avangard (2022) against Veres,tv broadcast 6pm on the 9th, before arriving in Scotland,

Gareth Williams

Too reliant on going direct, hoofball football. Hearts xG was 1.33 and we were 0.56 but had 62% of the ball. Not good. We are non-existent going forward. Something (new players) and someone (the manger) needs to change this or we are fucked. Hope Davies is dropped and Propper is everything we hope he is. Souttar still a bombscare. Dessers still Dessers. 3 good chances, but as he's 1 goal in 4 he needed the 4th chance to score. We desperately need something different up top.

Bixby Snyder

Thanks guys. I’ve a feeling Matondo & Wright may start and not sure if I can take too much more of them cutting inside to just hit the ball off the legs of the player in front of them.

Excellent pod gents, lots of good discussion. I am more than willing to be patient and let the club build but the communication needs to be direct and respect that fans know what they are seeing. If they genuinely came out and said look this is now a two year rebuild off the back of a rebuild, which came from a manager getting no funds off the back of us telling you there was a rebuild that wasn’t really a rebuild then that’s one thing. Pretending the club has been well run, unlucky or committed to a proper rebuild before or something but this time will be different is a bit of a stretch. We haven’t built a squad properly or worked to a sustained vision for about 20 years. They can’t just keep expecting the fans to think this time it will be fine. A few bodies on that look like solid proper signings and some bits of play on the park or subs off the bench that look like theses a strategy and I can get on board. I can’t be hearing that we need a new Lundstrum though as he was dire for years and contributed in about a dozen games when he wasn’t getting sent off like a coward. If Clements pining for that ….. he’s has issues. Europe is just a free spin on the bandit to me, I will worry about it when we have had 12 years of dominance, ok 5 years of dominance, then I will care about us doing better, the focus must be domestic for the foreseeable future in my view.

jamey Carruthers

John Lundstram is not and has never been a good number 6

JimGLW

Good listen gents. Loving the platform's content on Kiev over a few pods this last week. Will be a tough game given the state of us.

JimGLW

Absolutely nuts comments to say that he is. Even if that was the case what does it say when Clement has signed Barron and Diamonde who both played

Steven Harvey

I think the manager is beginning to appear clueless. No style or patterns of play to be seen. This ‘marathon’ nonsense is wild much like his ‘we took more points than Celtic’ crap last year. The Lundstram comment, ludicrous. Last two league games have been draws against a team on a fraction of the wages. No idea where this ‘rebuild’ is going. Cerny looked slower than the version of Cappucho we got! Cortes gets 2 long term injuries in 3 or 4 competitive games….

Angus Mackay

I always enjoy the show, guys ( a few nuclear exceptions :-) but I honestly thought that this was the best preview show I've heard. The analysis of where we're at and the awarding of the manager's new contract is spot on. It's clear that the club became too comfortable a place for players to come and make easy money, we have to stand 100% behind the chairman and especially the manager in putting an end to that. That is going to leave us in an uncomfortable place for a while and there's no point in pretending that the next month (and the 2nd of September) could be very difficult at times, but if we want a hungry team that will compete like a Rangers squad should then we need to stand behind the manager especially. Without wanting to put pressure on anyone, I feel that the likes of H&H can help a lot in inculcating a positive mindset in the support in this very important period. If the sensible centre of the support can remain calm, I'm sure we'll come out of this in a much better place by New Year. At all costs, we have to award another meltdown. Personally I think we're very fortunate to have Clement and his contract commitment should be reciprocated. He could probably make his money more easily elsewhere, but he's a football romantic who understands deeper things. Thanks again, guys. Great listen.

Angus Mackay

It says that neither of them is a number six and he still needs one (which is obviously why the club tried to get Jordan).

Chris Graham 🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We need footballers , guys with culture in their game that have a bit of a brain Rabbi Motondo is one of the worst footballers av ever seen his contribution over 3 seasons is a disgrace

Kev Armstrong

I think we are a shambles right now. From a poor starting 11 to not getting players in the door quick enough.
