John Smith

Whoever the clowns were that brought that flag to the game should be banned. That’s the kind of shit that gives the press fuel for their fire.

John Smith

Some idiots brought a flag that had a ☠️ associated with the SS. Rangers have said they are looking in to it.

Jack smith

Hagi is a better player than Lawrence.

James

Same Totenkopf was used last October. Bunch of idiots who probably don’t have a clue.

Sandy

Thanks for the Zak Lovelace update David

Martin Boyd

Pleased and surprised it's only 4-6 weeks it looked bad. The Daily Record, Jesus what are they like. The sooner they are defunct the better.

Calum Robertson

Would gladly take Fergie in his 60’s in our midfield at the moment, certainly wouldn’t back away from the fight

John Smith

I wasn’t even aware they had done this before. Either Uber thick or doing it deliberately. Either way they shouldn’t be anywhere near Rangers.

Craig

Think you might have your Ian/Iain Fergusons mixed up there Davie.

Craig

Could have been worse, remember that roaster Jeff Winter doing a big intro for Ian Ferguson at a convention a few years ago when it was actually Iain sitting right next to him.

Craig

I really hope it wasn't the same guys as last time as the club assured us they'd be banning them. Wasn't the same flag this time anyway, a bit smaller for all the difference that makes.

Moody Marco

I love Ian Ferguson as much as the next Bear (especially ones like me where 9IAR coincided with their teenage years) but I actually think it’s the other way round from what David said on the update - I actually he gets very overrated as a footballer because of the fact he bleeds blue and the type of great guy he is and the fact he’s one of us. Don’t get me wrong, I always thought he was a very good player, I just don’t think he was ever as good as we make out

Moody Marco

Again, I agree he was good. I just don’t think he was AS good a player as some remember. You said yourself the main reason for Advocaat keeping him.

Nikky Cairney

Does anyone else really hate listening to the manager in press conferences and interviews? I really can’t listen or watch them anymore.

Ryan Stewart

Got to be honest the constant twisting and over analysis of everything Clement says is so exhausting. Lundstram/midfield at the weekend and now the Propper stuff. People just desperate to find fault in anything he says. We need to remember that although his English is good he isn’t communicating in his first language, he isn’t going to articulate everything perfectly all the time

Rod

I'm not as downbeat about tonight as most, this team have always shown up well in Europe despite domestic difficulties.

Craig Brown

Fergie will be hunting you down for thinking he was 62 yesterday David. Good luck with that! Haha!

John Smith

So the VAR team for our game have just been arrested

Liam Johnson

Clement says 4-5 weeks even if your legs amputated at the knee

Paul

That's where I'm at with him sadly. Won't see the best Rangers until November... player might not be ready to play as he was filling in paperwork. If Beale said any of that he would have been hounded

Colin Wieland

4-5 weeks for Cortés? That's your starter for 10. A mental decision to buy a player just come back from 7 months out injured. I predict we'll be lucky to get half a dozen games out of him this season.

Colin Wieland

Both Cantwell and Hagi had their transfer requests accepted months ago. So far, neither player's agents can find anyone that wants them. Brilliant!

stuart wood

I dont get the Hagi situation at all. If we had seen that player at the Euros and known he was coming to us in the summer we would be thrilled. He is a much better player than those currently available and we are still paying him wages. We also put ourselves in a weaker negotiating position with transfer as clubs will be 'doing us a favour' by taking a 'want away' player languishing in the B team rather than a 1st team player.

Moody Marco

What does that do to either prove or disprove my point? There are plenty of worse players than Ian Ferguson with more medals than him, and plenty of better players with less.

Graeme McLeod

Advocaat also didn't want him to go - Ferguson just wasn't going to sit around barely playing. Advocacy kept Ferguson and Durie around when so many others were allowed to leave because of their leadership in the dressing room - Durie got injured, but still.

Graeme McLeod

I'd take Ian Ferguson, Iain Ferguson, Barry Ferguson and Derek Ferguson over our current 'stars'.

Robbie McCarroll

Good question at the end, as well as ability, depth and fitness we do lack character some players didn’t seem that upset the after hearts game I want them to hate not winning we lack that in certain areas.

East Enclosure

Phil should can aw this build the player story, he’s been busy at ikea this weekend shite, honestly, we could sign CR7 for 2 month to give us a dig oot and Phil would be , ‘ya Cristiano does not yet know Scott Wrights runs and he’s not played snooker with Tav yet, we shall see the best version of CR7 once the league challenge is fucked’

Andy Barnett

I think it’s a more a cultural thing. But perhaps therein lies a bigger problem - we know how shit works in Scottish football, and so far he hasn’t grasped our league, our club or our fanbase. Just my humble view, but foreign managers never tend to get it. Not their fault, just the way it is.

Nikky Cairney

Totally agree mate. His latest pre match interview he’s said he’s went with the back 4 that finished against hearts because they done well 🤔🫣

Ryan Stewart

At end of the day if he starts winning more football matches no one will care what he says in press conferences. He managed to grasp the support fine when he first came in and we were winning, everyone was loving his interviews and press conferences, Twitter was full of “big Phil gets it” etc. Starts to lose a few games and all of a sudden he doesn’t get it as much

Ally Mair

Scott wright , tav and dessers to get us into champions league , did I miss the summer rebuild

Spoon

It’s because neither is as good as some believe and won’t be helped by us having to overpay to get them to come to Scotland. We will always have to incentivise players not already in the league to come here sadly that’s not the clubs fault. However we could be more focused on harnessing local talent and while we might have to shell out a bit more on fee I’m sure we could claw back on the wage. This isn’t an attractive place to play football and as the number of games a year goes up if you’re a pro it must reduce your career duration. Why come to a league that’s gash to play 60 games a season and increase injury risk for £30k a week when you could play 30 games for the same cash somewhere else. Our injury issues alone must put off players coming or teams looking to buy our guys.

Colin Mathie

Hopefully as from Saturday both Cerny/Propper play most games.

Colin Mathie

What about Nsiala, where the hell is he?

Rose Mcloughlin

Just woke up from my operation and enjoying listening to this...esp when I looked up the result..god bless Dessers...off to sleep with a big grin under a big bandage...us Gers fans are crazy...but you need to be one to know the feelings we go through...the horrible sad lows but the great highs...well done the gers.

Craig McWhinnie

Not that I think Wright deserved to stay on but was a bit like 🤨 at Jefté replacing him but to be fair I got that wrong wasn’t exactly frilled leading up to equaliser but was thinking least its only 1-0, what a difference 10 seconds can make to your mood

Lewis Wardrope

Would love to see the look on that journalists face that asked about Dessers scoring now😂🤫
